Has anyone given it up to lose weight? I have a fairly stressy job and hit the local most friday nights for 4-5 pints of guinness to unwind but this adds approx 1,000 calories to my intake. I reckon this wipes out the two one hour rides I do at the weekend. Has anyone made the ultimate sacrifice and eliminated alcohol?
We walked to B&Q at lunch time 29mins and to the Supermarket this evening 37mins, both a change as pre all this we'd have jumped in the motor. Little things add up and combining exercise with a task is a good feeling. What have you done?

Hi, Just wondering what helps you guys with losing weight? The best thing that I have bought is some wi-fi enabled scales which upload weight, BMI and fat percentage to a web portal which then graphs the results. It makes it effortless to track this info. The wife hates them though as it also tracks her values!
