3 years ago, as a Type 2, I went into diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). Thanks to that episode, my pancreas no longer produces any insulin. My doctor has now changed my status from Type 2 to Type 1.

i am currently taken Glimepiride and Metformin. i truly believe by taking these that i cant lose weight. i stopped taking the Glimepiride and have lost 5 pounds :( but my sugars are through the roof.. any thoughts or ideas ???
