  • Thank you all for the great advice!
  • You guys are awesome motivation and information, and I thank each of you! :)
  • Thanks! I'll wait 3 days. Just hope I don't gain solid weight from this. But what you gain you can remove.
  • I try and keep it as simple as possible. But, do not be fooled - I will have a lean cuisine here and there for a meal. I have been getting pretty close to my calorie goal everyday, so not starving myself over here. Just enjoying the weight loss progress, and enjoying the thought of a cheat meal even more! :) Learn…
  • Water weight from food? I've heard that before. Interesting. No, my plan is simply to eat healthy prior to the dinner. I'll probably eat a Quest bar for breakfast. I'll have a chicken salad sandwich for lunch before the gym, and then the chinese for dinner.
  • My problem is that I spend too little on scales, and I get what I pay for. I am skeptical about ones I have bought that were cheap, because the several times I talk about were: I got on a scale, read my weight, got off, and right then, I got on again, and it gave me a 2 lb. or more difference. I want something that is as…
  • Great, thanks a billion! I have also incorporated 10 minutes of straight jumping jacks; one set in the morning and one in the evening. So, on top of C25K and walking during rest days, maybe I will be able to burn some fat!
  • Ah! I will need to find a good one. ;) Congratulations on your graduation! I am trying to decipher your last sentence (lol)! I'll take it that you could run a 5K at the end :)
  • Fantastic! When you say circuit training, may I ask what you did specifically as I may be interested in plugging that in my rest days. I joined the group; thank you!
  • Hahaha, very true! That will not happen ;)
  • LOL! I do not think I will get hammered (I want to remember my birthday), but that is definitely a care-free type of evening! :D True. I actually do not weigh myself as it can become discouraging, so I am not worried about that. I just will work hard after my birthday :) I will definitely enjoy it :)
  • The advice is superb, everyone! Thank you. I will definitely adhere to it and enjoy my birthday! :)
  • Thank you, ExtacyMoon and I_Will_End_You (I hope not)! Great advice that I will follow.
  • Thank you all for your reply! :) Great help!
  • LuckyStar & McEneny, thank you (along with the other commenters)! I have taken your advice and adjusted my goals as such: Carbs: 309 Grams [55%] Protein: 141 Grams [25%] Fat: 50 Grams [20%] Is that good? It stinks dropping so many grams of fat; that is going to be much more difficult in a college setting.
  • I am rather ignorant when it comes to all these new levels of consumption regarding the various nutrients; however, I can tell you with 100% certainty that I did not set that protein level nor do I have intentions to consume that much protein. When I put in my goals, that is what was there by default. It must have been a…
  • I have unlocked my diary. Correct me if I am wrong, but this is in grams, right? When I selected my goals, it automatically put in that protein levels. I do not lift; however, I am starting a prescribed workout regiment soon. Thanks for the sarcastic pill reply. Who knows, maybe they will invent the protein horse pill…
  • No, I have not. Great yogurt suggestions!
  • Ironically, I was just reading about it, & I was skeptical, but if it can give you higher energy, and possibly a slimmer waist, then I am really thinking about trying it! I hope it does not taste too bad.
  • Thank you for that advice. Yes, I quit soda and fried foods on the same day. 5 Days Sober! :D Let's make it 30. The bottle I have says 3,000 MG. I take 4 pills a day.
