I'm 5'8 & 166.4 pounds. Goal was 145 but I don't see it ever happening. So...maybe 155

5'8" 166.4 pounds and size 8-10 bottoms, medium to large tops.
-
Not obsess over stomach. Focus on strength gains while lifting tonight. Not binge/ raid the pantry before bed. Just...be normal.
-
I also experience lower back pain after my jogs. I've had in iffy back for a few months now from a separate injury that running seems to aggravate. I agree that doing back strengthening exercises will help.
-
The Puma ones I mentioned are quite similar to these Target brand underwear.
-
Costco sells a package of Puma underwear that are specifically made for working out. They work great for my middle of the road sized butt.
-
Just under 5'8" and 166 pounds. I'll send a request.

4 days/ week is plenty for me. I follow the PHUL lifting program.
-
Stef, I just looked at the DUP workout and can see myself transitioning into that program once I finish a couple/ few more months of PHUL.
-
By the way..this is my favorite post in the history of MFP posts. Thank you for listing all these programs for us to view/ choose from. Thank you for putting it out there for people who don't know where to start.
-
I jumped into the PHUL lifting program (quite similar to PHAT) with both feet and haven't looked back. It's been the best thing to happen in my workout routine in a long time. I have made so much progress!
-
Have you tried lifting weights? My weight has gone up a little bit, but I'm doing the PHUL lifting program (if you google it you'll find a website w/ the workout program plus videos that show you how to do the lifts if you don't understand). I've seen more progress and growth in the last 3 weeks than I have in the last 4…
-
That was an incredible set of photographs.
-
I'm finishing a half sleeve right now and already thinking about my next one. Ha! They are expensive and the healing process is a snatchhole when you only have access to a bathtub and no shower but....I haven't regretted it one bit. Hope you pick something and just do it!
-
I am running the same program, on week two myself. I have been trying to get to the gym before the rush in order to dodge this same issue and have been successful so far.
-
I lift 4 days a week, currently doing PHUL. I had been doing my own thing but wanted more direction, so that's why I chose PHUL. That and the fact some of my friends who are smokin hot have had great results. :D My body type does tend to get "bulky" quickly, but to each their own. I want to be strong and be powerful.

Your boyfriend sounds very controlling. People like that get worse with time, not better. Buy whatever you need to eat and be healthy, deal w/ his *kitten* attitude until you have saved enough to get out. I've been there...no matter what you do or say, a controlling partner stays that way.
-
This *kitten* *kitten* is getting old, fast.
-
I kept a photo of Jessica Biel's butt in my gallery until I got sick of people asking if that was my real *kitten*. Her butt looked great in a bikini, which is what I wanted, so had it up for inspiration. It wasn't my main pic, ever, though.

I don't think we really need to drink that much water but... I always have a cup or water bottle with me at work and like to drink throughout the day. Just start the habit and you'll increase the amount you drink.
-
A lot of times I'll make a shake w/ a scoop of protein powder before drinking my pre-workout. I do it more for energy than upset stomach.
-
Things are going to come up in life that we can't control. But...the one thing we can control is what we eat and how much. You got shocked and a bad hair job. It could be SO much worse!
-
LIFT!!!!
-
It really seems like you need to continue eating more. Especially if you are not gaining weight and experiencing dizziness. You can do it!
-
800 goal is not a good thing for anybody, not even my 7 year old son eats that little. You need more and to find a healthier goal. Pizza is fine in moderation.
-
Sounds like you over did it a bit lol. I'd take ibuprofen, ice/heat them. But really you just overdid it and life/moving is going to suck for a few days. Slow and steady wins the race
-
I only supplement with protein powders when I'm lifting weights regularly.
-
I went a little nutso doing intermittent fasting, lost weight but also my mind lol. Back to eating normal and lifting as heavy as possible. I'm at about 160 I think, give or take a couple pounds. My goal was 145, then 150 and now? I'm good for now. :)
-
My goal was to hit 145 pounds. I'm at 160 (5'8") and just don't feel like I can deficit anymore. I got obsessive with intermittent fasting, felt terrible and just decided to recomp, eat what I want and lift as heavy as possible. I don't need to be 145. I don't even need to be 150 like I was 8 years ago. I need to be okay…

Congrats on the drop in weight! Lemon water sounds pretty good right now. Perfect for the warm weather.
