I weigh myself once a day, in the evening after work. That is the weight I go by.

I'm 5'7 1/2 and about 119 lbs. I've always been thin. I gave birth to my son at 143 lbs.

When I make pb&j, I'll put my scale on "grams". I put the slice of bread on the scale and "tare" it, so it's "0" grams with the bread on it. If I want 32 grams of peanut butter, I add peanut butter and either take some off or put more on until the scale says 32.

I've literally logged my 3 or 4 oz of chicken exactly like that after weighing it. I don't see anything wrong or weird there. I've gotten so good at logging my food that just last week I cracked up when I drank alcohol one night and woke up the next day after looking at the day before's food log and thought, "I ate Cheetos…

Peanut butter, beer & pasta. All favorites, but now I rarely consume them.

Chicken quesadilla and/or cheese fries.

You're fine. Go for 114! That's a healthy weight for your height. I think everyone losing weight has someone who tells them they're too thin. People get used to what you weighed before and have a hard time seeing the new you. You do what YOU want! You've come this far. Don't let anyone discourage you now!

I'm confused. If you can't eat the limited daily calories to lose weight, how did you get to the point where you needed to lose weight in the first place??

Tracy, just so you know, I am your height (5'7.5) and age (41). I apparently got to a weight last week that MFP deemed I was thin enough, so it automatically "yelled" at me (lol) and changed my calories to 1830 a day. I was shocked because I really think 1830 is wayyyyyy too much to "maintain", but that's what MFP gave me.…

Haha! I agree! The same mother who told me "how I was exercising wrong" (above ^^^^) is on here. (does not log in, ever) Her profile states how she needs to lose the weight after having kids. Ummmm...... I'm her youngest..... And I'm 41 years old. It's NOT baby weight anymore!!!! Lmao.

This was years ago, but it always stuck in my mind. .... I was young and in the tightest shape of my life, after having my first son. 21 yrs old, 5'8 and probably around 115 lbs. My mother (who is 6'0 and probably over 300 lbs) was over to visit from out of state. I was laying on the floor, doing my ab exercises. She was…

Salad Works! You can "create your own" and their fat free honey mustard dressing is SOOOO GOOD. You can get 5 "toppings". I usually get mixed greens, egg whites, carrots, breaded chicken, corn & (just a little) Parmesan cheese. Dressing on the side. Yummm

I never eat my exercise calories back. Most people over estimate their exercise calories. I treat exercise as a bonus to my weight loss. ....as getting my body in shape and toned.... But, I do not log when I exercise. Everyone is different. To each, their own. I did this right after having both my sons (and nursing), too.

Maybe start to eat 100 calories less than what you consumed yesterday. ...do that for a few days, to a week, then drop it down another 100 calories. Repeat. Drop it slowly. Your body will adjust and not feel so hungry that way. But, you will never lose weight if you don't start to eat less than you burn daily. Good Luck!!!

I'm 5'7 1/2. Starting weight (end of August) was 144.4. Current weight: 128.2. Goal weight 124.4. (Exactly 20 pounds) I've always been thin. I gave birth to my son at 143. So, when I stepped on the scale and realized I weighed MORE than when I gave birth, I was shocked! I try and net 1200 calories. I haven't plateaued yet,…

Every morning. And log my weight every day. I like how I can look back on any given day & see how far I've come. I usually look back to the same day, last week to see how much I've lost. Also, I actually look forward to waking up and weighing! The fluctuations don't bother me. They actually inspire me! If I want to "cheat"…

My right knee cracked all the time for years without pain. Recently, I've had some pain in the same knee. Turns out I have arthritis.

I'm the same. I think Summer brings BBQ's and parties... Cook outs and beer..... Oh, an ice cold Corona with lime (or 6) in the Summertime!!!!... But, I find that when I want to (and actually try) to get on track, it's always the Fall/Winter season. THIS Fall I'm actually paying attention & buckling down to lose the 20 lbs…
