The key word is progress. A pound a week is excellent. Also hard to say without knowing your starting weight. Someone starting at 170 and down to 155 will notice a bigger change than someone starting at 250 and down to 235.

I just started eating MRE's yesterday (old stock and have to get rid of). they taste pretty good. You can just option out of the cookie or desert they provide. It might be higher in fat than you may like but you will be burning the cals so no problem. Good luck!

hot sauce for breakfast lunch and dinner. Low calorie and maybe 150 mg of extra sodium. just a portion of what i have in the panty. If you like it use it.

I am blessed to have pretty close to a commercial gym at home. High school buddies own a Life Fitness/Hammer strength distributor so I get set up well with equipment used once or twice and at the cost of home gym equipment.

It is a great start. Anything really is a great start. From there you will want to do more. After a little while and you need to decide what you really want. To get stronger? Run faster? Start to lift? either way great start but like many of us you will want more once you get going.
