You can add me. I've been at Keto for 13 days now, and I'm down over 9 pounds since I started it. My diary is open. :)

Please add me! I've been doing keto for 13 days and I'm down over 9 pounds. Feel great. My husband had done it since Jan 1st and has lost almost 40.

I posted on this thread awhile ago, but here are some updated pictures after I hit my 40 pound goal. I was 180 on the left, 140 on the right (I'm 5'6"). It took me 9 months.

That's awesome you are going to add strength training! It will not only aid in your weight loss, but can help speed your journey up as well. I have only been lifting for about 5 months, but the changes in my body (as opposed to just cardio) are incredible. As mentioned above, you can find a lot of plans online. When I…

I've lost 34.5 pounds in 32 weeks. The last 5 pounds to my goal weight have been extremely slow to come off.

I am 5'6" and I started MFP in October of 2014 at 180 lbs Current weight 145 pounds Goal weight is 140 After I reach it I will probably try to get down to 135.

What lift? Bicep curls, tricep work, rows etc. How much I lift depends on what I'm doing within the given rep range. I wouldn't worry about how much others are lifting, you should be lifting what is challenging for you without sacrificing good form. You should also be lifting appropriate to rep ranges and goals.

HIIT is what you should be doing for cardio. It's been proven to burn more fat than steady state cardio. You're done in 20 minutes and it's not as boring. Plus you can do it on any machine you prefer or with weight and body exercises (pushups, jumping jacks etc). You only need to do it a few times a week. Not absolutely…

I'm going back home this summer and want to look much better than when I left. That's been motivating me. Now I have to make sure not to lose the momentum when the trip is over! Obviously I want to be healthier and it's great for me, but it is nice looking better too. :) I totally understand how the motivation can come and…

Well I have my calories set for a pound a week loss (500 under maintenance). It worked great up until my last 10 pounds I'm on. It's coming off a lot slower and it's harder to stick to that low of a goal on weekend recovery days. I do weigh everything with a scale and log before I eat. I try to get as close to my macros as…

That's awesome, I've never been much of a runner. Although I haven't done it since I have got in better shape. So you've not lost for several months? Are you eating back exercise calories, weighing food and all that good stuff?

Congrats on losing 30 pounds! I would suggest lifting weights regularly (if you aren't already). Also, try HIIT for cardio. It's more effective for fat burning. I'd be happy to link up with you, I'll send you a friend request.

Yes, measure everything! In addition, I would add strength training and HIIT cardio as well. Getting that low by summer is not a very realistic goal unfortunately. If you can shoot for a pound a week it will be easier to stick with and more obtainable.
