I am having the same problem. Very frustrating!

I am also having problems saving recipes. That has always been one of my favorite features of MFP.

Well, fixing the Don't Count Steps didn't work, at least yesterday's steps never showed up. So I uninstalled and reinstalled my zip. Still nothing. I will wait and see if when I synch at the end of the day it makes a difference.

"Don't Count Steps" is checked. It won't uncheck. I am not sure what to do here. edit: I figured it out. Hopefully it will work now. Thanks!

Well, it is past the time for the maintenance. it is 11 PM on Thursday and my steps still will not show up! :/

Well, at lest it's not just me. I am very bummed out. I am trying to estimate my steps on the low side and manually entering my walk. It's not the same, though.

I will try the doctor route, but I think all I will get is the Paloe lecture. He is very proud of my loss so far, but keeps telling me I should switch over to Paleo for the remainder. :( Fortunately, my excess skin is nowhere near as bad as your neighbor's. I feel bad for her. No, mine is purely cosmetic and would be…

I am not sure my doctor (PCP) would know the answer to this question as he seems vague in these matters. He is a big Paleo advocate and his answer to all of my questions is to "do the Paleo diet". I am a CICO person, which is working just fine for me. I believe diet choice is a personal matter and if it is working for you,…

This is how I have lost 143 pounds. I eat healthy, keep my Macros in check, but I still eat my snacks. Prepackaged, portion controlled servings, limited to once or twice a day keeps me sane. My go-to sweet are Fiber One 90 Calorie bars, but I also eat the mini bags of popcorn and other pre-packaged treats. Large family…

I have had several long stalls in my weight loss journey of 125 pounds as of now. After losing 90 pounds I looked on these boads for help with my first big plateau of 8 weeks and I was challanged to start weighing all of my food in grams. Did that and I stepped off the plateau and started losing again. 15 pounds later, I…

Breakfast is my favorite meal! I like variety and have a sweet tooth. I work three nights a week and on my days to work I eat a simple breakfast of instant chia oatmeal and yogurt before driving home and going to bed (I have a 45 minute drive). Other days are the ones I really enjoy. I also keep my breakfasts at 300…

So many great accomplishments here! Kudos to all of you! The other day at work a young 20-something lab tech did a double take when he looked at me, whistled and said he didn't recognixe me at first. Then he told me I was beautiful! It made this 63 year old grandma smile all night! :)

I would love it if you would share those exercises. I have to be very careful with my back and hips, too!

Thanks to all of you! Two more pounds lost since I posted this. A pound at a time. Sometimes I am on a losing streak, sometimes I am plateauing. But it is my lifestyle now, so I don't stress about it either way. Just keep it simple, something you can live with long term. For me, that is CICO. Everyone has to find their…

LOL! Love it! I had a bassett years ago and hav never really gotten over losing her. Great dogs and apparently a good diet companion.

Hello! I hope I can join this group. It looks like a friendly one. My name is Ginny. I am 63 years old and work nights as a Respiratory Therapist. I have done that for 43 years now. I am married and my husband has lost 45 pounds on MFP and has been on maintenance for over two years now. We are empty nesters, with two…

I am now to the point in my weight loss (119 pounds lost) that my body is losing weight at it's own speed, which is a lot slower than I would like! But as long as I am losing I am ok. Because of that I no longer put a pounds loss goal. Instead, I make a behavior goal. If I track every day, keep within my calories (eating…

It looks like everyone had a good plan! I also had a plan, but kind of went on a binge between Christmas and New Year's with the left overs and gained five pounds! :o But I have now lost it all and am ready to make this a very successful New Year! Thank you for all of your responses. Have a great January! :)

I have also hd a sugar addiction, complete with the shakes, etc. I am a lot older than you. But I have lost 119 pounds and controlled my sugar addiction on MFP over the last 16 months. I suggest you continue to track everything you consume. That for me works as a mental leash to keep me reined in. Also, I have not…

I am probably not set right at this time. I plan to change it soon. I am set to 1.5 pounds a week/sedentary. I wear a Fit Bit that gives me more calories, but I seldom eat them. I am at 1200 calories and do fine with that. I have lost 119 pounds at this point and have 41 more pounds to go. I lost at the 1.5 pounds per week…

18 months ago I needed a seat belt extension on a plane. Earlier this week I not only had an extra 10 inches on the belt but I sat comfortably in the middle seat!

Nice thread! I love it when my cat curls up next to me and purrs. A beautiful sunset. The ocean rocking me to sleep while under sail. Quiet Bible study time. My family all together.

My main advice is simple. Log it all accurately (weigh in grams) and don't give up! The closer I get to goal the more frequently I have pauses and long plateaus of 6 weeks or more. I lost the first 90 pretty easily, and then it became quite slow. Now I drop, plateau, repeat. I will check to see if I am getting lazy with my…

I like the 100 calorie popcorn, the Laughing Cow cheese with celery, sliced apples or crackers, yogurt and Fiber one bars. I also just found some 100 calorie packs of sliced apples with caramel dip. I try to keep most of my snacks around 100 calories.

I no longer need to lose 50 pounds. I have lost 118 pounds and have 42 pounds to go. But I loved the old group. So can I still join?

Thank you all for the replies. I will make just a few when get back from vacation to try. I work a three day week (three 12 hour days in a row) so if I make three the night before I start my stretch it may work. I was also thinking of making all three a little different and logging them in advance when I make them.…

Great job! I do that, too. If it is too big to be comfortable, throw it out! No one wants to wear clown pants. :) That way you will be reminded if you have to get back on the wagon. I have better things to do with my money than to buy bigger clothes. Now, buying smaller clothes, I can afford! B)

I will walk my 10,000 plus steps, log faithfully and try to reduce my carbs to 30%. I have been experimenting with reducing my carbs from the 50% on MFP's default. I find I am less bloated with less carbs. We are going out to eat tonight, so that will be a bigger challenge than if we were to be eating at home. I also have…

I also find that stalls help our body accept the new weight and help prevent us from gaining back what we lose. Before I went on a cruise last May I had a big drop just before we left after a stall of about three weeks. I regained on the cruise exactly up to where I had been during the stall, no more. I did lose that…

Thank you for the welcome! I will hang out here a bit. I am always looking for fresh ideas to keep things interesting. :)
