  • Carb is an energy source as is fat and protein. I have never been able to gorge on protein or fat. Perhaps it is a genetic defect but when it comes to carbs I can gorge. Carbs from plants are key for gut microbiome health. In my case low carb does provide some pain management. A high carb high fat can drive inflammation…
  • Kentucky USA is not a high vax state. Last Tuesday I was at Walmart parking when a car parked right behind me. It was a cousin that I had not seen in years. He wanted to tell me my 97 year uncle was inside getting his first COVID shot. 2 in the household had Covid so the family decided it was time to get vaccinated. I was…

Clearly from the stories comments we as a whole are not on the same page.…
  • My father said if you are looking for a bugger bear you are sure to find one. :)
  • Yes and the reason among health care workers is in part due to the lack scientific data where the net value of COVID-19 vaccines will positive or negative for our health over the next 50-75 years. In my case before my first Moderna vaccine shot the Covid-19 blood clots side effects almost ended my life. If I am bitten by a…
  • Now that you realize you're a year behind you can move twice as fast to catch up. :-)
  • https://www.france24.com/en/live-news/20211104-grave-concern-over-covid-in-europe-as-german-cases-soar I never thought I would be reading this kind of headlines as we rush upon 2023. Thankfully here in Kentucky USA currently there's no limits on gas and other fossil fuel purchases. Grocery stores are well stocked with no…
  • Sorry to read after nearly 2 years Covid is still a hot problem in Italy. The article below indicates no COVID-19 end is sight in my view. https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/cdc-very-high-risk-travel-destinations-november-1/index.html

  • https://youtu.be/yPvUb9jo-Pw This news out of Europe is stressful. I expect there may be a new variant. China Covid-19 news is also stressful. Thankfully USA numbers are looking better but we are about to head into winter.

Russia is at 1000 deaths daily and looking at lockdowns. China is in the Covid news cycle again. After 2 years I would though science would have made…
  • You may want to follow the medical advice of your doctor. You do understand your linked info is without actionable results. May-, Estimated terms shows a lot of guessing. How many stone were found in the control groups?

  • Yes on Moderna. Each shot is 100 mg whereas Pfizer is 30 mg each. Israel was a pure Pfizer nation hence a massive data source. I think mg is the correct unit of measurement. When Moderna booster is needed their CEO said it may be just 50 mg.
  • It is sad but typically that demographic in the USA is underserved when it comes to physical and mental health issues. Sadly in my 6 state region this demographic seems suceptable to social media and local fear factors that are band MFP subjects.

  • Don't you expect Australia to become red hot when they open up like most western nations are doing?
  • https://youtu.be/_ItkYhFiGBI. As they say time changes all things. It seems like reality is starting to sink into the world's mind how lockdowns are hurting the poor and children the most while none of the vaccines have a long-term pandemic stopping effect and most of the world is not going to be vaccinated. We had to give…

  • I remember back in 2014 several were posting about Zero Carb Way Of Eating. That WOE didn't seem to take interest in the health and diversity of my gut microbiome. These days I try to eat 50 grams of high fiber carbs.

  • https://scitechdaily.com/can-you-lose-weight-success-or-failure-may-depend-on-your-gut-microbiome/ When I changed my WOE in 2014 by late 2015 my intuition was screaming that ketones are not as magical as some thought back then. Research that I have since read indicates in my case cold turkey stopping all added sugars and…
