1 word: Sleep. I'm a mom. Other moms will understand.

Belly, hands down. I have a target number of inches I want that to be. I actually obsess over that a lot, so even though the pounds are going down, I get concerned when that part stalls.

Get rid of them once they are 2 sizes too big. You have to make it uncomfortable and expensive to gain again. The exception is my nice suits. They are 2 sizes over where I am, but I'm still 2 sizes from where I want to be, so they're in the alteration pile for a couple of more months because I don't want them to be altered…

I did that too, but she had on a maternity suit jacket, complete with the tie in the BACK and she kept shifting her purse from one side to the other just like pregnant people do because they're backs are killing them. I would have felt bad, but she was a TOTAL B****, she earned it five times over.

You'd really need to read the book, not just the lists. It isn't really just a list of don'ts. I guess I should be happy, but it seems like ALL the stories I read, people were losing a lot more than that (especially since most stalled or gained in Phase 3 in their first week). Should I be worried? My calorie count was actually under my MFP goal when I did cardio on…

(There's probably a scientific reason for this. I just know it happens EVERY TIME). I also recommend drinking lots of water and just try to go to bed earlier…

Most of what I log as "breakfast" is just late night binges that I push over after midnight, so I have the whole day to fix it by doing extra cardio.

I had an aunt who tried it and died. I think when you consider the fact that you'll still have to make those lifestyle changes post-surgery, I'd go the hard road. I'm sure your family would appreciate more of you to love, not less of you to miss. :'(

Always. "Aunt Flo" tends to be an over eater, so working off the extra calories keeps me from getting completely derailed.
