I gained 15 in three months... here's hoping I have a similarly speedy recovery. :)

To lose a pound a week, we need to eat less than what MyFitnessPal even recommends. I'm on a 1,000 calorie a day diet -- come talk to me about what's kinder to who.
-
This. Sometimes less, sometimes more. But at the end of the week I'm usually averaging 1100 a day.

It's going to be a great, hard cardio workout! Get there about 10 minutes early and have the instructor help you set up your bike. Make sure when the instructor tells you to "stand up" on the bike, you have enough resistance on the wheel to support your weight. Otherwise you could injure yourself. Your butt is going to be…

Yaaaaaayyyy food scales.
-
I couldn't read past "only 2-3 pounds per week." Sorry.
-
Mostly before because it helps me keep on track.
-
Good. Maybe that means they'll come up with some decent tasting ice cream that has fewer calories. :)
-
Once a week or thereabouts.
-
I think the short answer is no, but there will come a day (probably) where more protein is going to be the solution to the problem of wanting to eat your own arm. Now that I'm getting down toward my goal, protein is my best friend. I judge all calories by it.
-
Is cellulite even a real thing? I thought it's just fat. It'll come off eventually.
-
Yeah I'm with you -- I can't work out without eating something beforehand!
-
No but not eating any fiber (or solids for that matter) will slow down your colon for sure.
-
Apples and bananas, cottage cheese.... Those are really the only things that have been mainstays in my fridge. Oh and various frozen meals (Amy's, Saffron Road... other GF meals) for dinner a few nights a week.
-
Add a cup of beans to your diet every day or every other day and you'll get moving in no time. :) Plus protein!!
-
Yikes that's a tough menu to choose from! I agree on beef but be careful about sauces and sides...
-
Curious -- what did this person mean by "worst?" Worst tasting? Worst because it's the cheapest? Worst because it's not filled with fat? I eat tilapia and I enjoy it. I get the frozen fillets that are in marinade or sauce and I eat it over rice. Satisfying... Lots of protein.

I just quit weight watchers because I stopped losing without tracking all of my calories. Nothing is "free." Since I switched to MFP I've lost 15. Also, their tools suck. They have made zero substantial improvements to the site for years and yet increased the price late last year. Couldn't justify it anymore.

Look for kinds that don't have any ingredients that seem weird in cottage cheese. Like thickening agents... bleh! I eat Daisy 2%.
-
40 pounds in 4 months? Holy shamoly....
-
Is it working for you? If so, keep doing it. I eat the same damn things every week, I've lost 40 pounds, and I'm still losing.
-
You can eat healthfully and be gluten free -- it's quite easy. In fact, it's easier because you can't binge on the bread baskets when you go out to dinner! Really... it's as simple as making smart food choices, and not eating things that have gluten in them.
-
I eat PB2 and I love it. Peanuts, sugar, salt...
-
Omelettes and tacos would go well with the things you listed!
-
I know. And I agree. It makes my life harder bc no one takes me seriously. How do you convince someone you actually have an autoimmune disease with these fools walking around?
-
"Gluten free" is only getting out of hand in terms of the number of people who don't have Celiac. For those of us that do... I appreciate products getting smacked with all of those GF labels. Now if only I could get restaurants to take me seriously instead of laughing me off as just another fad dieter...
-
I love the maths. It all just adds up to weight lost.
-
Daisy low fat cottage cheese Tuna salad with light mayo, relish, celery Deli meats And of course... chicken.
-
I would be so bummed if I didn't have Udi's! They make great stuff.
-
Also, Udi's frozen pizza is the best I've found so far. When you cook it a little bit more than the box requires, the crust gets nice and crispy-chewy like a regular pizza crust.
