I have been told I have hypothyroidism. I have a reaction to all the medicine on the market with one symptom or another so I do not take anything. Although I have very thin hair I have not had any trouble losing weight. Started at 290 I'm currently 250ish.

No my clothes aren't any tighter. I just freaked seeing that number on the scale. I weight myself once a week, same time if possible and in the exact same spot. I never move my scale. I gave up soda in June of 2017. I haven't had any since. Water, unsweet tea or flavored water. That's it. The last time had a sip of soda it burned my nose because of the carbonation and tasted terrible. B) B)

Started my journey June 19th at 290ish. I have lost a total of 37 pounds in 11 weeks. I still have a long way to go. Everyone loses differently. It depends on your weight how much you would like to lose and how much effort you put into it.

I normally ride a bike outside in the morning for an hour everyday and then I go to the gym after dinner every night for an hour. There is no limit to how many times a day you can work out. If you got energy and want to do more then go for it!! B)

I know it won't last for ever. The smaller I get the less I will lose. Its been 4 years since I was under 200lbs and I would lose about a pound & a half per week avg.

This makes sense. The weeks I haven't lost anything including this week have been Monthly cycle or ovulation. I have not had a baby but was on birth control for 7 years however I have been off the pill for 5 years. Thanks for your reply!

I want/have to lose 140lbs total. I am 5'5" and I eat anywhere from 1200 to 1500 a day

I was told because I was so big I had more to lose then the avg person and I went from eating about 4,000 calories a day going out to eat, soda and fast food to 1,500 calories a day. I also didn't do anything except sit on the couch to biking, walking and going to the gym. I was told losing as much as I have was normal.

Thank you all for your responses. I guess its just the way my body is going to do it!! To Muscleflex79: I thought I should be losing every week not just every other week. To eat right and bust your *kitten* working out and to see not even 1 pound is annoying!!

I weigh myself every other day. It keeps me motivated and helps me hit my goals weekly. I record my weight every Monday. I do all my weighs first thing before breakfast. Down 14lbs in 4 weeks so I know what I am doing is working.
