I'm in! I started doing Keto on May 1 - stay between 18-25 carbs a day - really hoping to lose 15 pounds (I have 100 total) I lost 10 the first week, but figured the majority of that is all water, so thinking 5 more is doable in 3 weeks.

Probably a question better suited for a doctor more familiar with you. My first thought would be no - unless you're maxing out and really straining I don't see why it would be an issue- especially if it's allready something you are doing.

I saute cabbage with a little bit of olive oil, then toss in some turkey kielbasa, sometimes I add other veggies, like asparagus, bell peppers, and mushrooms. Takes about 15 minutes tops to cut and cook it all. In fact.. that is what I'm having for lunch today, that with 1/2 a sweet potato - soo good!

No detox needed - that is what your kidney's are for. What you are suggesting sounds a lot like starving yourself.. not healthy my dear.. not healthy. If you want to eliminate bloat - try dropping all carbonated beverages and reduce your carb intake, but trying to lose a bunch of weight in 12 days by juicing and "detoxing"…

If you're using MFP, then yes you should because your deficit has already been calculated into your daily caloric allotment. I typically only eat back about 1/2 because I figure there is room for error on how much I've actually burned for the day.
-
I was going to comment.. you should be doing this for yourself.. not anyone else. But you said that already your self.
-
Yes! What nonsense!
-
To develop/build muscle you must be eating at a calorie surplus, not a deficit - which I am assuming you are because you stated you are trying to lose weight. 3 pounds in 3 weeks is great! Your efforts are paying off.
-
If you end your day without exceeding your calorie allotment then you should be fine. Even if you used real sugar.

My locality does not define me..I appreciate qualities in both destinations.

Second the comment about getting fitted! Get the shoes that work best for you, don't buy them for name or design. Tennis ball works well, so does a frozen water bottle. Stretch, Stretch, Stretch those calves! (this will help alleviate pain for both your shins and feet) Listen to your body though, shin splints suck, hurt…

accept it and move on.. you already knew the answer. Your weight loss will vary every week, don't get discouraged. Keep making those healthy choices and your body will respond!

Fat loss means less things jiggling.

Are you drinking enough water? What about your fiber intake ?
-
I only have one on the top of my foot. But I have at least 4 more I want to get. No clue how to post a picture from my phone otherwise I'd share.

Try not to get too caught up in calories burned for weight lifting. On days I lift I focus on the positives I'm doing for my muscle strength. On cardio days I track my calories to make sure I eat enough to fuel my workouts.

Cabbage and Turkey Kielbasa - (don't know if there is gluten filler in the sausage though) Super easy to make and tastes great! I just toss a bunch of cabbage, bell peppers, sometimes mushrooms in a pan with some olive oil, saute it a while then add the sausage till it's warm. Season with whatever tastes good for you. I…

Are you running the app on your phone or computer? It should give you an option to add friends, in a drop down. Mine brings up contacts that have already registered/sync'd and also an option to add friends via email address. With friends you can create challenges, and for people who are ultra-competative like me, it's an…

Hobbies help as people above mentioned, keep busy. I also find brushing my teeth earlier will help prevent mindless eating.
-
no. just no. :s
-
Good luck! You can do it!
-
I think your example looks great, I wouldn't worry too much about fruit sugars. I also wouldn't worry about tracking your vitamins and such unless you have a deficeincy. You've made a lot of good changes- keep it up!
-
I can't wait until my "fat" isn't the first thing I see in the mirror.
-
Stretching is good after your muscles are warm, you can cause injury to your muscles pushing too hard before activity though. One thing to try to soothe is epsom salt baths.. helps me tons!

11 pounds in one week is insane, and was likely just a lot of water weight. Try not to get hung up on daily numbers, your weight will fluctuate quite a bit. As long as what you're doing is healthy.. keep doing it! Just don't expect to lose 10+ pounds each week. The standard "healthy" rate of loss is .5-2 pounds a week. You…

I like Oh Yeah Victory bars.. decent protein, decent fiber, low sugar, and tastes great.

Not going to repeat what everyone already said.. As someone who has had very muscular/large/thick/thunder/trunks thighs no matter what weight I'm at, I just try to look at how amazingly powerful they are! When I'm feeling week at the gym, all it takes is a trip to the leg press and BOOM! I'm feeling strong again! Good luck…

Can you go for a walk or do something around the house? Even just a little movement so you stay motivated?
