I am absolutely clueless about lifting weights. I find it intimidating. It hurts and I am worried about hurting myself. How do I incorporate weight lifting or resistance training into my exercise routine? Do you have any advice? Running was so much easier. I just followed Hal Higdon's program and that was that.

Beans and lentils! I am a vegetarian and I cannot say how much eating beans, lentils, and things like tempeh have helped. Look at Kayln's kitchen (a blog) for idea. She is so freaking helpful.

I am always starving on LCs. I enjoy them but they don't fill me up (and I am sensitive to carbs so I ended up even hungrier an hour later to the blood sugar spike). And I ate like 4 bowls since I had such a soupy curry! The curry, which was huge was so much less of a calorie hit!

I totally agree. No regrets. It was just interesting to find the bulk of my caloric intake came from the rice and not the tofu curry!

I am following SB but am logging to make sure I am getting the appropriate nutrients and exercising to make sure I am at least sweating four times a week. For me, what's been effective about SB is taking foods I normally default to off the table. It's made me embrace trying different things. I had a lot of luck doing this…
