What is the best time to workout when doing this plan?
-
I still plan to only eat my 2000 calories a day in those 8 hours

Yeah soup has so much salt. I love my salt and eat way, way too much. I bet I could lose a ton of water weight alone just by cutting back how much salt I put on everything. Speaking of that -- anyone have any good ideas for a salt alternative? I was gonna try low sodium salt which is made with potassium instead of sodium.…

I wonder too - there seem to be a lot that do more.

$37.50 per month for me $17.50 per month for my wife It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the big gyms I used to belong too and I miss the hot tub, swimming pools, sauna, running track, basketball courts, etc BUT that gym was always so damn packed from open to close. Now I can go in after hours with my little ID…

So I am thinking: lettuce, tomato, onion, corn, cucumber, sunflower seeds), peppers then dressing. Maybe add some canned chicken or pasta occasionally. What else would be good in there?

Im not lazy (at least not in the kitchen) - I spend about an hour or more cooking fresh dinners for my wife and I each night. I spend hours in the grocery store going over each label and nutrition info. This is going to sound coo-coo but I won't eat leftovers either - never have even from a kid. I know it's weird - my wife…

Gonna try to some salads in a jar (making tonight). Each will use yogurt ranch light dressing in bottom with tomatos, cucumber, seeds, onion, corn, lettuce. Then to some I will add some pasta or maybe some canned chicken to spice things up. Gonna also make some chicken salad and tuna salad next week and just make…

I am not trying to eat 1800. I want to eat 2000 but the food I planned and bought just add's up that way. Maybe I will sneak in an extra snack or something. I use the app for working out because I don't want to be out in the gym using weights and designing my own workout plan. I want to be hidden away in the yoga room by…

Yeah I know I have to find something that I can sustain long term. I hope to develop the meals and workouts over time once I am more used to living this way. For example even with all that food each day I am starving. I think it's because I am used to eating a massive breakfast burrito, two medium 8" subs, and a wendys…

Yeah we don't have leftovers (we use a meal plan specifically tailored to two people so that we don't over eat). Salads I love but I don't like any of the healthy options for dressing - it has to be drenched in ranch or ceasar I can't stand it. I have tried all the other dressings - they just don't do it. I would love to…

Maybe this will be some motivation too posting these here. Can't wait to hopefully post some photos with some big changes in 6 months and 1 year.

I wish I could have a personal trainer. We are a young broke couple and just affording the gym membership stretches us to limit...trainers are so damn expensive. That is why I figured something like DAILY BURN or FITSTAR is like having a trainer but costs less than half of what one session would cost and you get a full…

So you would just walk out of a ZUMBA class after 10 minutes? Is that okay - do people do that? Never been to a group fitness class.
-
Still yet to try it - hopefully tonight.

I don't have social anxiety. I actually love going out and meeting new people. People always say "wow - you must know everyone in this town". I own a company that throws music events so I have to deal with hundreds of people, bands, bar staff, door staff, booking agents, etc - I love people. Super happy person too - I walk…

Yeah there are a couple reasons I want to use the gym: 1.) At my house it's all carpet and everytime I jump or lunge or something the carpet starts to pull up and bunch. It's a rental and very old carpet but I don't want to make it worse. 2.) Each video calls for something I don't have at home (resistance bands, jump…

Yeah don't really want to use a DVD anymore. Like to be able to use by bedroom or the gym or garage so it would need to be on computer no matter what. I will look at YouTube - seems strange. - I would like workout system that knows how hard I can go, what my goals are, etc but hey - could be just what I need. Will go check…

I checked those out - don't like that you have to wear on upper arm. Would prefer something that looks and feels like a watch. Any other ideas? I will keep searching the web too.

Is it weird to take your IPAD to the gym and do the workouts in the yoga studio at night along with the IPAD video? When the studio is not in use of course? We don't have a lot of empty floor space in our house and it's old carpet so when I jump or lunge the carpet actually moves and shifts (probably not good for the life…

I fond one called FitStar that seems cool. Really gauges the workouts to what you want to do and what you can handle. Anyone tried that? Also found one called Daily Burn that seems kinda interesting.

Great - I will take a look. Heard there is a brand new FitBit coming out with heart rate monitor built in that is supposedly smart and tracks all exercise but who knows when that will arrive.
