Thanks everyone. It's tricky for me because I'm on top and aware of my emotions 99.9% of the time and it's the 0.01% of time that I over eat. That binging happens when I'm not consciously in control. It's not a decision at that point. My body is in survival mode and just looks for calories in any form. I don't beat myself…

I used to weigh myself everyday and found that I would stress and over adjust if the scale went up. Now I only weigh myself once a week. Sometimes the suspense is annoying, and if the scale doesn't move much over a week then it can make you feel weird. But I prefer to not be stressing over my weight everyday.

Being aware of your down days is the most important thing @Brandmaer so well done for even realising it. Just know that these feelings are only temporary. I've found having self compassion one of the most empowering things during my fitness journey. Knowing when you need to give yourself some TLC and when to push is hard,…

Fasting is great if you know what you're doing. I do intermittent fasting as a part of a larger fitness plan, but I don't recommend sporadic fasting as a correction method. You can easily make up 500kcal over the next week. Stick to your plan, fitness is all about the long term!
