Got one for Christmas! Loving it!

i know it's cliche, but everything in moderation. before I would swear off sugar because i though it wouldn't be able to control myself. Now I just get a small serving (unusually it's Talenti raspberry chocolate chip gelato) and eat it slowly. It's satisfies me AND I can eat it without going over my limit. Now that I don't…

Thank you for the article! That never has worked for me either!

That is genius! Lol

I have always had horribly dry skin. Right now my hands are dry and cracking. I feel like I've been dehydrated most of my life as a result of not drinking water. I think I am going to stick with the 8 glasses a day (counting tea) and see what happens. Then if I need to readjust I will. I'm not gorging myself with water so…

I have not been. I am planning on buying a food scale tomorrow to better measure my calorie intake.

Very good point. It's also refreshing to hear (no pun intended. Ha!) I have just been afraid that if I don't drink enough water it will hinder my weight loss.

I have noticed my urinating had increased over the last two years. I partly thought it was because of the weight gain. Also, I suppose I should have mentioned that I have been drinking alcohol pretty heavily for over a year. Stupidly, I never thought that it could be connected to my urinating. Now I'm thinking it may be. I…

Thank you! That is very good advice. I will stick with it for a few weeks and see if it doesn't even out. My problem in the past is that I never went more than 2 days so I don't have any data to compare it to. Glad others have had similar issues. Thanks everyone! ☺️

No thank God! Lol.

I have cut everything out except water and one cup of tea a day (which I am counting as a glass of water in my diary)

I am 5'6" and I weigh 200. I would love to get down to 135. So I have right around 50-60lbs to lose. Just started getting serious about my health this week so I haven't even weighed myself yet. Hoping to see a little change on the scale next week.

Makes perfect sense to me. Guess I shoulda googled first. :p

Drink less water problem solved. Your body has a perfectly good method of telling you if it needs water. It's called thirst. The 8 glasses of water thing has no science behind it (it was actually a marketing campaign for a mineral water company before everyone started quoting it. It's just a number plucked out of thin air.…

Well that's always a good thing! I can get down with that.

I don't think I'm low carb-ing. Carbs are usually my biggest chunk of the graph. I'm still learning the ins and outs of eating a balanced diet.

I agree. I am prone to UTI's. This doesn't seem healthy for me personally. But perhaps trying it in moderation will be ok.

Haha I've actually looked into this as well and my doc said I was ok in that sense. He said I could train my bladder by holding the urine for as long as I could. I know he's the doc, but that doesn't seem healthy to me

Oh good idea! That way I could better track it. My doctor actually tested me for diabetes in the past because of it. My test was perfectly normal. ☺️

Haven't had any caffeine in two weeks so I don't think that's it. Maybe I just have a week bladder. Also maybe my body is just trying to get used to it? I wasn't 100% sure so I thought I'd ask. ☺️

Hi there! I don't have 100lbs to lose (I want to lose about 60), but I still wanted to chime in since I am new as well. I have a 6 year old daughter. I've also gone back and forth with trying to lose weight, but every time I give up and end up gaining a ton. :s I wish you the best with your weight loss journey! We are all…
