  • Doing EVERYTHING in moderation would not be doing things in moderation in an amount that is in moderation. Get it? :) Whoops I somehow missed the posts where other people had already clarified this :/
  • @CindyS858 I was just curious if you ever got those samples after all and what happened with them after all the debate. Can we get an update?

  • I was also only about 115lbs when I was diagnosed since I had not been absorbing nutrients from my food for so long. One thing you have to be sure of is that you are being completely 100% GF. Gluten can hide in all kinds of places, and I have learned that even one incident of contaminating myself will set everything off…

  • I tend to get a lot of soreness, even with taking supps and drinking plenty of water, and NSAIDS upset my stomach. Anyone have any other suggestion for a pain/inflammation reliever?
  • I know, I am starting to be able to spot the fake ones better now. I hate when they have the "I was given this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion" To me this = paid reviewer
  • You can try having a smaller meal at 5 to leave some calories for your post workout meal, but I would not skip it
  • I saw someone mention this in another thread and had to search for it. What the....?!? I thought it must have been a joke, but looks like it is real. :s
  • I thought that painkillers slowed down your metabolism, and would potentially make you gain rather than lose weight? I don't know much about tramadol though. Are you sure this is the cause? If not, there could be other underlying health issues contributing to your weight loss. Maybe you should see a Dr
  • This is what I need, something for energy without the calories. But I am afraid of feeling jittery on something, and having to wait for that to wear off. What kind do you use, and does it make you feel that way?
  • Sometimes just plain old ibuprofen helps me get some better sleep. Maybe if you are having pain/discomfort that is causing you to wake up and not go back to sleep you could give it a try. When I take it for that, I take 800mg
  • For me if I bring my own food that is all the self control I need - just because I can't stand wasting money! If I bought it, I'm gonna eat it.
  • Good for you! :) I would definitely stick to something over the counter and all-natural then. I think that some of these suggestions are probably good, even though I have not tried any myself. My problem is more lacking energy than appetite suppression.
  • This is interesting, and I get all the physical and chemical benefits of exercise for the body, but when it comes to my mental state, I feel like exercise can sometimes give me MORE anxiety. Setting aside time, working out around other people (I would never keep a good schedule at home) and the exercise itself, which I am…
  • I feel like every time I am very close to achieving my goals, I have a setback (usually health related) and end up having to stop exercise temporarily, and then I'm right back in the same place. This is really causing my motivation to wane. Any advice?
  • I agree, I have just started, but I am already loving adding lifting into my routine.
  • I am not really a fan of HIIT, but I want an exercise that will not bore me and still give me fast results. Any other suggestions?
  • Sometimes I will put my yogurt in the freezer earlier in the evening and then have it later when I have cravings for a dessert, and it does feel like you are having a frozen yogurt treat. I like strawberry best!
  • There are many studios that now offer a "sculpt" version of yoga with weights, which can help more than traditional yoga with weight loss/toning. However, you do lose a lot of the spiritual aspect of it.
