Welcome! '89 here! I recently started counting macros the last two months (400+ days of logging) and already considering premium haha.

Of course. I'm vegan-ish and I think it's complete *kitten*. But there are also people that follow and preach vegan diets that justify it with "meat is causing cancer" or "meat makes you fat". I guess my frustration makes more sense if I had also stated that I follow a veg*n diet.

VEGANISM. People are insane when it comes to believing sensationalized documentaries on Netflix *cough* WTH *cough*, blogs, etc. MEAT IS THE DEVIL. ITS FULL OF TOXINS. Also, detoxes, and anti-GMO BS. Sigh.

Welcome! I also started at a point where I could barely walk for more than a minute at a time. Weight loss and health starts with nutrition, and you can start to lose weight through diet alone, it's just a bit slower. I dieted for over a month and lost 15 LBs before I started to incorporate small exercises into my daily…

Organic, Non-GMO, "natural", detoxes, cleanses... all of the silly woo BS. Makes me really angry especially when I see members shame others for things like having a water enhancer or something. People are so quick to follow whatever they're told by some edgy opinion blog that they totally disregard scientific truth.

If you log absolutely every little thing, you can start getting obsessive about calories. I don't log my seasonings, I don't log tic tacs or any 0 calorie stuff. Using MFP isn't about obsessing over details, it's about learning to create a new healthy lifestyle. I don't nibble things anymore, I don't steal stuff from my…

Looking to lose about 300 LBs. Very active. Anyone can add me as long as you're not going to tell me to detox/cleanse and bathe in coconut oil :)
-
Cleanse, Detox, Natural, Organic, Non-gmo, like. Ugh. Just stop.
-
You should log whatever feels right to you! Moving this huge body around for 5 hours doing housework is for SURE a workout! You know your body, your usual activity, and what gets your heart pumping. Nice job and keep up the great work :)

Anti-woo 27 year old 400LBs+ highly dedicated and extremely active, looking for friends! Send me invites! I love encouraging others and accept invites from anyone at any point in their journey

Go to your gyno. Mild bloating is normal. Extreme bloating could mean something is off. Always be honest with your doctor. It's not worth it to avoid awkwardness if they misdiagnose you.
-
Wooo! You look so happy! Awesome job!

Me: 11 Binge: 2 DBF: 9 I'm going to my in-laws' place today, and they have no concept of healthy eating. Everything is laced with butter and high fats.. It's usually pretty tasty too. This will be the first time going there since starting my MFP streak/serious dieting. Going to be sure I'm not hungry when I go for dinner.…

Right??? lmao

PC gaming on the daily, but I still like consoles too. Mostly casual games on consoles though, a lot of Nintendo.

Hey there! I'm looking to loose around 200. I've sent a friend request in case you're looking for some active friends on here :)
-
Me: 8 Binge: 2 DBF: 6 @Moxie42 I had a day like that yesterday. Man it was bad. I felt like I was being pulled to the fridge, to food delivery sites, anything. It's a different feeling experiencing that pull and trying to fight it. After a few hours, it passed, but I had to wrap myself in blankets and binge watch food prep…

I want... energy. Energy to work out, to get chores done, to make progress on my work project.
-
Me: 6 Binge: 2 I was so close to binging yesterday, but I stopped myself right at the start of it. I was able to wrap up all of the food I had prepped and put it into the fridge. I worked around what I had started to eat, and came out making it through the day only going over my goal by 200 cal. I even spoke about it with…

Video games help curve boredom and loneliness.

Drink water while you eat your meal, that helps a bit to achieve that "full" feeling. Bite, bite, sip. Ehh, I don't know. I struggle really bad with binge eating too so I'm following this thread. I will say though after 25 days of being on a restricted diet and using MFP, I went to binge on pizza and ended up putting most…

Welcome back! I send you a friend request in case you're looking for some active friends :)

If she says something around you again, I'd mention MFP. People don't want unsolicited advice, but offering something without being preachy like "hey I use this website, it helps me track my portions and I had no idea I was eating too many calories in a day!" could just... be helpful. I've always been obese and fit people…

Is this still active? Is anyone interested? I'd love to join. It would help a lot.

Me: 2 Binge: 2 Bad couple days, back to back. Bleh. Tomorrow is a new day I guess.

Welcome back and good luck! I'm a recent rejoiner too, I'll send you a friend request

Weather was crazy today in Ohio! Storms all day, though I do like opening the windows and letting the cats enjoy the storm. My oldest kitty always lounges and listens to the thunder with me.

My name is Melissa and I've struggled with my weight my whole life. (short intro story) I'm a fat Canadian woman married to a thin American man, and my life has sure changed over the last 7 years. I've always been big, but shortly after I married in 2010, I fell down a flight of stairs which left me bedbound for almost a…

This will be my first time joining! I've only admitted my issue with bingeing to one other person before. Me: 1 Binge: 0
