Logging food, but still not very motivated. Eating poorly. Did good for 2 days, stayed within calorie goal, drank my 8 gl of H2O, didn't get in all the exercise, then ate over calories yesterday, and started today off wrong food wise. Already mid-Jan. Can't believe it. Had an injury between Christmas and New Year, stopped me from doing what I had planned. NY's goals and all. Starting new today though. Glad to be here. Liking all the inspiration.

I love this idea, and I am so glad I found this posting. Just for today: 1) Log my food (check) 2) Increase H2O intake (so so 4 gl.) 3) Not eat bad carbs (did pretty well ate 1 pita w/ supper and tasted not even a tsp. of cake batter) PS the cake is not for me. :) 4) Tell myself I am proud of myself for even doing this…

My mom was a pretty good cook but not necessarily a healthy cook. However there were 2 meals she'd make on occasion and I am not sure why or how she came up w/ these concoctions. One was salmon the other liver but both were in tomato sauce. Yuck! What kid wants to eat that. As an adult I don't want to eat them. :'(
