  • IMO the tuna is fine, its all the stuff we doctor up the tuna with. Mainly mayo and eggs can set the #s pretty high.
  • My old assumption that all yogurt is healthy was quickly dismissed after reading the labels. A few yogurt shops have a "no added sugar" option that really helps when trying to stay in your daily allotment.
  • I do think they are worth the money, I understand folks get into a routine a quit using them. The snap shot it gives you for the time you do use it is a real eye opener. (For Many) If just for 6 months along with a app like this one and you may be very surprised at what you find.
  • (Side Note) They package Wellbutrin under the name "Zyban" as a stop smoking aid. I used Zyban to quit smoking with good result. So if your a smoker (probably not on this board) it may help you stop even if that's not why your taking it.
  • Thank you for sharing, great 1st post!! The picture is amazing!!
  • You look sharp Sir! Great inspiration right there.
  • I appreciate you sharing this. I made it 46 years with poor running technique and now do see the importance. I can jog spurts now with minimal to no pain. It really took learning that "step" all over again. If you had asked me about running even 1 year ago I would have said "never again". Now I do see that light.
  • Misread before answering.
  • My daughter made me a "no sugar added" chocolate fudge cake with chocolate topping and it was amazing. I brought two cakes to work and the "no sugar added" one was gone way faster. That said, Ive learned to just take "a bite" of the really rich stuff (1/2 a bite if its too rich) LOL ... Seems to work well for me. Happy…
  • LOL, bought some a couple months back and Im still not sure what to do. The Pho tip might be good. I had high thoughts of a spaghetti knock off. Got home and realized that was a really "high thought".
  • Awesome start, you found a great support and eye opening tool here. I wish you well on your journey.

  • I have quit and did indeed gain weight, it was a struggle and I cant sugar coat it, its still a struggle. It took me several years to even care but when I got myself on track it was the best thing Ive ever did. All of California has 1 800 NO BUTTS (1 800 662 8887) and here in Orange County we have TUPP :…

  • I frequent Wahoos and Rubios several times a week, both have very satisfying and filling salads. El Pollo Loco has a great under 500 calorie menu and Ive had several of the items. The 99 cent side salad at McDs' (add Jalepenos) is a great snack. Even In and Out if you only eat half or less of the fries and drink tea is not…
  • Gratz to you! Thanks for sharing.
  • I think its great that your MD is on board and encouraged this program. If it has been "Prescribed" I think you should see if your insurance will pay for premium. Worth a shot IMO.
  • In the past 9 months Ive worked my way into a tea snob ... Ive always drank and loved tea, got more serious about my health and expanded my non sweetened options. I stayed pretty hooked on the bag variety and found "Stash" to be a brand I really enjoyed. Started noticing that when I went to places that brew loose leaf I…
  • Welcome BexGettinFit! Im 46 and have always struggled with diet. This time my body took the lead and shut me down. I made up mind that living longer is important to me and started making "life style changes". Its no longer a temporary diet that feel punishing but being able to earn what I eat and reward myself when I…
  • My daughter recently did a Sugar free Pillsbury box cake that was pretty good. She made a regular cake and a sugar free chocolate on chocolate and the sugar free actually finished 1st. It was for nurses week at my work, but typically we nurses don't go after the low cal stuff 1st.
