Check all the settings at the fitbit site, your weight and stride length in particular. Check all settings on my fitness pal too. Other than that I'm not sure.

Depends what your budget is too. I have a fitbit surge and love it. I can wear it 24\7 no messing with straps and it's got GPS. That said it's not a dedicated running or swimming watch and I'd look to plolar or garmin for that.

Depends on where you come from in terms of fitness levels. I do an annual hike which is about 26 milrs in the hills, and everything aches for days, so what you describe sounds normal to me.

They often do, the problem is more likely to be portion size. You could have say chicken chow main but should only have half the carton, this being probably circa 500 calories. Hi Lauren, well you are ahead of the gain if you are not overweight. Only thing I can suggest is for each sugary product you really like try to find an alternative more healthy option. Make gradual changes too. I find that sugar is quite addictive and once you start reducing it, the easier it gets...
