Restarted my journey in September. Typically have lost about 1 lb a week, but I've too been in a plateau right now for 3 weeks. Not the first time its happened to me this time around. It just seems for me, I lose a bit, then I stay the same for a few more weeks, then lose again. I worked with a trainer in the fall who…

My goal is preplanning. I will pre log what I plan to eat day, and up it to a maintenance level so I do not feel deprived. I will be very honest with my food log each evening even if I mess up and hoping that this will keep me on task. I will workout dec 22, 23 and take dec 24 and 25 off. workout and diet calorie levels…

I have been on here for over 5 years, and as my weight has fluctuated, so has my commitment to this, so I 100% understand. Please don't beat yourself up over it. Take it easy on yourself, take a deep breath, and go kill it at your next workout. Plan your food ahead of time, and stick with it. You will find it again, I…

When my boys were younger, I picked a gym that is open 24 hours. I would make sure the boys were settled in for the night, and then would go workout and do my workout 9-10 or 9:30-10:30 pm. Home, showered in bed by 11pm. Has worked for our family. My boys are older now, so now I have managed to make that 9pm gym time be at…

Im 50, and strength training has been really vital in getting thru plateaus. I workout 4-5 days a week. I do half hour of HIIT workouts (weights, etc) and then I do another half hour of cardio. Good luck do what fits best for you and your journey!

I love my coffee and its my one vise that I am not giving up. I use 2% or 1% milk in my coffee and I count that in my food log. I need the calcium anyway, because I have cut out a lot of cheese from my diet because of its higher fat content. Doesn't seem to sabotage my results in any way. Good luck!

Wow. You deserve to love yourself beautiful!

My 14 yr old son (who is a pitcher and soccer goalie) and I had a contest to see who could do a plank the longest last night... and I beat him at 70 seconds whoop whoop!

Go to bed and tomorrow you keep working. Don’t look backwards - keeping aiming for the prize, whatever your goal may be.

Nice job!

I’ve been at this for the millionth time, for last 6 weeks. I’ve found my a1c is better and I’m using about 30% less insulin because I’m working out and eating cleaner foods. It’s such a slow process and it’s easy to discourage but hang tough!! Remember at our age hormones are changing things too so we’ve got lots going…

I have been in a weight loss/fitness challenge over the last 3 weeks. I am an insulin dependent diabetic. I have reduced the amount of insulin I need by over 25%. That is a HUGE deal.

I take D3 supplement since I am in new England (no sunbathing this time of year! ha!) in addition to a fiber supplement. I am T1D and eating low carb.

I think as long as you weigh yourself at the same time of day each week and wearing the same amount of clothes (or not) then it doesn't matter what time of day. Yes, the number might be different if you are butt naked first thing in the am, but is doesnt matter. Same time = you are being consistent in comparing one week to…

Its why I don't weigh myself everyday. Too many variables cause fluctuations. I officially weigh in on Fridays and I check in on Tuesday/Wed to see if Im making progress leading up to that next Friday weigh in. Keeps me from freaking out when I happen to consume something with too much sodium during the week and I happen…

My friends all think I'm crazy because I always go to the gym at night, after my kids are done with their sports and homework stuff. Anywhere from 7:45 to as late as 9:30 arrival. It doesn't bother me at all; I don't mind working out by myself. There are also less people in there to have to deal with later at night and…
