  • I'm going to the gym today to try this... Sounds brutal!!!
  • I think you look great, very inspirational.... care to share your exercise routine?! I'm going to add you :) Good luck with the PT
  • I did my first kickboxing session - I really enjoyed it! The warm-up was kicks/punches/squats in a cardio kind of routine, then we took it it turns holding the pads and punching. I didn't get as much of a sweat on as I'd have hoped because I was more focused on trying to remember the punching combos, but next time I will…
  • I do weight lifting as my main form of exercise and I'm going to my first ever kickboxing class tonight, hopefully I'l be able to give you a proper answer in a month or so if I keep going with the classes! I eat well most of the time (weekends go off the rail slightly) and I'm thinking of adding in a weekly yoga class. How…
  • To be honest, I'm not entirely sure! - there's a lot of conflicting info out there. I've reset my macros to 50 carbs/30 protein/20 fat. Hopefully that'll help. Maybe I'll change that goal to "meet daily protein target" because im always under.
  • Good luck everyone :-) Up my calories and protein intake Add a good few lb of lean muscle Get body fat down to about 17% (I was 19% before Xmas and I'm now at 26% :# ) Increase my lifts throughout the year Start kickboxing classes Complete Tough Mudder
  • I was always against gyms - saw them as a waste of money as I knew I wouldn't go after so long. (Been there, done that!) Last year I started swimming 2x a week (pay as you go) and really enjoyed it, but wanted to switch it up a bit after a while and decided to get a full gym membership to make it cheaper in the long run. I…
  • Which one are you using at the moment? I like the USN chocolate shake http://uk.usn-sport.com/en/diet-fuel
  • Well done, that's great! I had the same feeling this weekend when i got weighed - put on 1lb but lost .7% fat! It's great when you realise you must be doing something right!
  • Same stats here - 5' 7" and 135lb. I'm looking to add lean muscle and lower my body fat, not sure how much yet though. Going to add you
  • Also... "It's not a diet, it's a lifestyle change"
  • "I want to see what happens when I don't give up" So many times I've started working out and slowly stopped after a month or so... I've been going for around 7 months now and I'm not giving up any time soon!
  • I often get told "Why do you bother with gym/eating healthy? You're already thin!"... my reply "exactly" B) It's going to the gym and eating well that keeps me like this! :|
  • I'm a loner. I keep thinking how it would be good to have a gym buddy, but then realize that it would slow me down and I wouldn't get the best out of my workout. I started swim/gym with my aunt but noticed that we kept having longer breaks at the side of the pool for a chat! She has since dropped out - It was good to start…
  • I've been eating these soups recently, not sure on the sodium but they are really nice and filling - especially the green one. http://iamsuperfood.com/
  • To have my best body by time I'm 30  (10 months to go)
  • My meal for tonight is Spaghetti Bolognese, it works out at 494 calories per serving. -250G lean mince beef (fry and drain off excess fat) -add a beef oxo cube (just crumble over meat) -add 1 chopped onion -add 1 grated carrot -add a handful of button mushrooms -add a handful of olives -add 1 jar of Dolmio Bolognese sauce…
  • I like alpro soya dark chocolate pudding pots, they are only about 115 calories but taste like a milk chocolate custard. Lovely!!!
  • I've popped microwave popcorn on the hob in the past (I'm also microwaveless). Just make sure you put a lid on first!!! And shake the pan to stop it sticking. When the popping dies down, its ready! ...Now I need to stop at a shop on the way home to satisfy my craving! Great ideas everyone, my snack choice at the moment is…
