You should be doing both cardio and strength training for weight loss. The two combined are quite powerful. And yes, protein is a GREAT idea!

I cut pop out completely and it has been wonderful! You can do this. One day at a time :smile:

As far as finding balance, I've found it helps to do it with your significant other. My boyfriend and I go to the gym together a few times a week and cook healthy meals together. I just started the journey of losing 30 pounds, and him being a part of it is a huge help.
