Diet coke, coke zero, diet Dr. Pepper, diet ginger ale, diet root beer, sprite zero, or diet 7-up; anything but diet Pepsi... it's gross!

Or 2 tablespoons of almonds? Or 2 cups of salad?

I think to be accurate you'd have to weigh the whole thing and weigh your servings.

Yes!

Thank you.

I always leave some calories for sweets; can't seem to do without them. I love 100 calorie kettle corn (microwave packs) or a couple of dark dove chocolates (or Hershey's special dark miniatures). Today I bought a chocolate cake mix and an angel food cake mix so that I can make the minute-mug-cakes. They're great. I also…

My favorite is a breakfast sandwich made with a Thomas light whole grain English muffin (100 cal.), a large microwaved scrambled egg (nothing added except a small amt. of water; 72 cal.), pre-cooked turkey sausage, bacon or Canadian bacon (35-65 cal.) and a slice of American cheese (70 cal.) for a total of 310 calories max.

Can't wait to try this!!

Thank you so much for the tip on the USDA site!!

YES! I was worried that I was in this alone; LOL. I'm not a "healthy" eater but feel healthier since I'm losing pounds. Maybe in the future quality will matter as much as quantity; but for now, I'm succeeding by watching how much is going in my mouth. I love desserts! With all that said, I have a long way to go...

I'm looking for friends as well. My goal is to lose about 60 or so pounds. Just started counted calories about 2 weeks ago. I'm going to "open" my diary so anyone can view. I started off the year with a low carb diet and just couldn't hang. I've lost about 6 lbs as of Monday (my weigh-in is Monday morning).

IMHO: Either one will work if you follow your plan. However, it's just as easy to count calories as it is points (1 point is equal to 40 calories if I recall correctly); MFP is free and WW is not; MFP's app is superior to WW's. So I vote MFP.

I have literally laid in bed tossing and turning yearning for a snack! I can't explain it; maybe that' a sure sign that I have an eating disorder. Sigh.

I made a detour last night through McDonald's drive through window; ordered an Oreo McFlurry! After eating it on the way home I did something even more disturbing to hide it from my husband. I threw the trash out the window! Yup, I littered along the highway! So much for don't mess with Texas! Geesh, what the he!! is wrong…

Great suggestions here! I'm no o:) myself just before bedtime. I'm also a shift worker which doesn't help as I keep some very odd hours.

Just curious... how much is "loads"? Like I say "just curious"; I'm no expert so shouldn't answer your question. However, if you're setting your goals weight wise and health wise, MHO is it's not too much.

Awesome, awesome, awesome!

I'm absolutely in! I'm 5'10.5" and at 208 lbs. as of today. My goal is ~155. Do you want to start a group? It'll be great finally being able to share some of the obstacles we have to overcome. Not to make it a gripe session and probably getting totally off-course but I'm totally stunned (well used to be; not so much…

Thanks for the ideas!

Probably, but check with your provider.

My oysters have already been shucked. Might try baking with a smaller amount of butter and lemon. Thanks.

Just what I've been looking for; thanks!
