  • I've just been house-sitting for a friend, and she has a 900w vibration machine - can't recall which type. I made a decision to use it every day for the 18 days staying there, and surprised myself by sticking to it. I haven't been to the gym for 4 years, and really struggling to get myself back there. I don't do a lot of…
  • I've been 'keeping' 200'ish calories for an evening snack of a protein chocolate and mint/orange bar and sooooo look forward to, and enjoy that. In supermarket last night I came across the 38 calories hot chocolate drink, and decided to try that option. It worked a treat I'm happy to report :-)
  • Yes, it can be hard trying to manage our diets when we have busy schedules. I try to keep carbs to a minimum after 6pm. I do tend to have a good lunch, when I have potatoes/wholegrain pasta or rice with my meal. In the evenings, I avoid potatoes, pasta, bread etc., and have salad or lightly stirred fried vegetables with my…

  • Thanks everyone - your replies have really helped. I think I'll stop 'completing' the diary as has been suggested. I have stuck religiously, possibly neurotically, within my calorie allowance, and just about to record my 2nd week of no weight loss. I do though, feel slimmer and clothes confirm that. I'm a bit confused but…
  • Thanks for replies. Yes, I have recorded weight loss, but that has stopped too in past week. I'm feeling good, and can certainly feel a difference in my clothes. I'll stick with this though, as I'm picking up a lot about nutrition.
