I had said on my profile that a theme park would be fun for a date but it would be safer to go for a drink- he picked up and suggested we went. I thought it was really sweet until he wouldn't go on anything!!

I had a first date at a theme park with a guy that didn't like rides! All the queues were long and I stood in them on my own and was the 'single rider' for everything! Not fun- declined date number 2!!!

Plan your evening meals- I log them at the beginning of the day with my breakfast so I know how many I have left for snacks and lunch. Then if I complete workouts I can allow myself a little extra!

Go to your fitbit app/computer dongle first so it syncs with your device. The open the MFP app - go to the more section and press the sync button. That should force it to update!

Hi I live in Essex- would love some uk friends!

I know that feeling- up until July I taught in a secondary school and now I advise. Long days are so tricky and I've always been really hungry by the time I get in. I found buying a slow cooker really useful as I could eat something nutritious straight away so didn't need to snack.

Just keep with it. It is definitely possible to lose weight with thyroid issues (had mine since 17) but I think weight fluctuates more than some people as thyroid levels tend to do the same. I'm also in my third week on here and lost 4 in first week and nothing in the second. When I lost weight before the same thing…

Hi- very similar goals hers. I'm about 190 and would like to get to 140. Wishing everyone good luck in their journeys :D

Good luck- I'm going for 50 too. Happy to cheer you on as you lose

I would say eat a bit of what you fancy but don't go mad! Do consider taking some time off work though- I didn't and felt worse and worse. My doctor sent me to hospital when I finally took a day off on Monday and was struggling to breathe and they've diagnosed me with pneumonia. If I had taken the time off when I needed it…

Hey- I know how you feel. I was diagnosed with thyroid problems at 17 and went from a size 8-16 within a year. It is possible to lose weight with thyroid issues (I've done it before). You might not see results as quickly as you want but it will happen- just aim for slow and steady.

Would love to have more friends on here- I think success is a lot more likely if you have people to cheer you on!

Hey I'm from Peterborough but live in Essex and using the flex too! I think weekends are hard as, if you're at home, the fridge is never far away while if you're out you don't want to be unsociable. With exercise, I need to improve mine but have found it hard to fit in with work. I've found just changing some behaviours…

Thank you! I'm hoping slow and steady will work for me!
