Find a saddle that suits your sit bones is a big help too. A lot of bike shops have sample saddles that you can try out on your bike so that you can find the right one for you.

It's worth looking at the Wahoo app too, this is about the only free app that pairs with a heart rate strap and accurately. Measures time and distance. Congrats on the weight loss. My advice would be to speak to your nurse/consultant about this. They will be better qualified to advise you rather than us on here who know nothing of your medical history. It might be that they advise reducing the amount of insulin you take at meal times to prevent your hypos after exercise.
