Wow, good job

My friend got a tummy tuck and breast augmentation (which included a lift) for $14k. She didn't have a lot of extra skin, tho. Just post-baby belly. She didn't complain too much about pain, but she's stoic, so hard to tell.

A friend and I both noticed that while other women lost weight nursing, we didn't lose any at all. For me personally, if I cut down on eating, my milk supply would go down rather than my weight. I stopped trying to lose weight after about eight weeks postpartum for the first baby, and just maintained until I was done…

I joined WW for the meetings and accountability, but for food tracking, just counted calories. Worked great. Except for gaining back the weight...

Seeing the effect of lifestyle on people as they age. I grew up in a place where everyone eats meat and cheese and beer. Now I live in a place where everyone eats fish and rice. You don't notice the difference when you're twenty. You can eat junk and your skin is still smooth and your hair is still shiny and your body…

Wow, your arms look great for 100# down. Think I'm gonna have loose skin in the end. Good job in the exercise too. :)

Born and raised in Wisconsin, but haven't lived there in decades. Stopped by this thread and saw the word "nice" in three out of six posts. Makes me kind of homesick! Set down that pop and take a nice healthy walk to the bubbler...

Maybe think of exercise as a vitamin or medication. Like brushing your teeth or taking a shower. Go for a ten minute walk no matter what. I know it's hard to be motivated when you're depressed, and adding a new activity is kind of the exact opposite of what you feel like doing.

Yeah I go down a regular size every 10-15 lbs., but plus size there is more wiggle (jiggle?) room.

I found the knee pain got better and better until one day I realized it was gone. Just go slowly and eventually you will get there.

Same problem! I get to a good number, then think I can cheat. Or the scale will go back up the next few days and I'll feel like there's no hope. It helps if I spend a few days eating light and drinking water, so the number goes down more, then go back to eating at my limit. That way there is some wiggle room if I get…

I went to Australia for two weeks and lost three pounds. Bought to-go cereal for breakfast. Ate out lunch and dinner. Made one of those lunch or dinner meals salad-based. The other meal, lunch or dinner, was whatever looked good. Maybe in your case, make one of your breakfast or dinner meals salad or other low calorie…

Don't want to assume anything about your relationship, but future pregnancy plans could explain things. If the two of you are thinking about having her carry a baby in the next few years, she might just be waiting til after giving birth. Agree with the other posters who say not to bring up the issue. She already has and…

After about 30 lbs. down the pain in my knees and ankles stopped. I thought I was going to have to get knee replacement by age 40. Sad to think I probably did a number on my joints for all those years weighing too much. But happy to see my joints will last longer than they would have on the path I was going down.

Good job. What a sweet story.

5'7" 212 = 18 171 = 14 I tend to be a 12 around 155 and a 10 around 145.

-1 to +1 in a sinusoid -- I try to only weigh myself once a month. LOL
-
I shop way too often. No waiting here. :D
-
Now you have to maintain for one week so it'll be 100 in 50. OR you could say you did 10^2 in 7^2 :p Anyway good job!

Made my first mini goal of the halfway point to goal weight. Now I'm aiming for under 170... 1.81 lbs to go B)
-
Good job! You can really see the difference now.
-
That's a big difference for 25 lbs!

Hubby is 6'0" 300# and 46" waist.
-
Nice! Stop by and let us know how it goes.
-
That is a big difference already. :)
-
That headline is hilarious! Now I wonder how much eating out costs our family every year...

Love your slippers

I eat something every hour from 7am to 2pm. Usually fruit or vegetables. Get the nutrients in early, plus staves off cravings. Stops me from eating a huge lunch.

Good job!

Good job! Wow, that posture difference is great.
