  • We are so close in height, current weight & goal weight. Hello new best friend :)
  • I'm looking to add more friends! Hit me up @ www.fitbit.com/user/3MBV6X
  • :D I'm up for a challenge! I'm starting on my second round of Insanity, I'll do what I can!
  • Same here ladies! I'm a pretty positive person & try to encourage everyone to do their absolute best! We all need motivation now & then. The way I see it, we're all in this fitness journey together! Ya'll can add me if you'd like! :D
  • Bout my FitBit Charge HR yesterday & set it up today! So far so good!
  • Alka-Seltzer ... at least for me this works really fast! I read this remedy out of a Women's magazine years ago. I still use this to alleviate & get rid of them quickly. I can't take cranberry anything, for me, it brings on a UTI. @megan_dotson Hope you get feeling better soon!!
  • I was wondering the same thing. Depending on how much you work out & what your calorie deficit is makes a difference. Make sure to weigh your dry ingredients if you want to be completely accurate. Some folks just "eye" it & go on, others are to the "T" when they measure their food intake. Keep in mind that measuring…
  • Me either! I was in sports all year round in Jr. High & in High School & I had no such thing. Even at my lowest, adult, weight (115lbs.) I never had one. I'm still not worried about it. Makes no difference to me ... but it is pretty funny to read all the comments about it!
  • It's over rated. I've never heard of any women I know that actually wants a gap in their thighs. I prefer to look, healthy ... but that's my opinion. B)
  • I'm 41 & I had the exact same issue when I turned 38. Although I had my three children by the age of 28, it was easy for me to lose the baby weight at a reasonable time with very little effort. In the past, thankfully, I never really had to watch my weight. At 5'4" I always fluctuated between 125-130lbs. (I also maintained…
  • That's awesome! @Mickey1413 I was thinking of trying something a little different after I'm done with Insanity ... I would like to start something with strength training but I haven't decided what program to run with as of yet. Good to hear from you!
  • Sorry, I just saw your post! Congratulations on your fantastic news!! I'm so excited for you!! That's so wonder that you're able to keep working out during your pregnancy. I wish I would have been fit going into all three of mine ... I gained so much weight during. I'm doing alright on my workouts. Insanity has proved to…
  • I feel the EXACT same way! Insanity really tests your commitment. Especially if you have never followed a workout this intense. After the two weeks I was off, I wanted to start all over again. After reading comments from MFP friends I followed their advice & just went back a few weeks. It was difficult, yes, but I'm so…
  • Some reason I felt better doing it yesterday than I did a few weeks back! On the fit test I saw an improvement on the majority of the sets but went down one on the knee touch, & four on the low plank oblique. I think I can live with that, lol. ;)
  • That's awesome! @paul_dubster I believe I have heard something similar to that. I too have the deluxe DVD set & took a peak at it yesterday. I like the fact that he still does a cardio warm up prior to weights. I thought about throwing that in later today to see how I do. I finished up with Max Interval Plyo & my arms &…
  • I think that's amazing! @KingsGirl4 You are definitely more courageous than I am! I think it's safe to say that it may not be visible for someone to see your physical changes, but the most important part is for you to feel them. You & I know we feel it ... & it has definitely been worth the soreness, sweat, blisters &…
  • @KingsGirl4 I appreciate that! I'm the same way. It was difficult, very difficult. Then I thought about how far I've come & I couldn't just start over. Each day I remember how close I am to my goal & it gets easier! :)
  • Oh, honey ... you're telling me! It was so frustrating I just wanted to cry! In all honesty I thought about starting over, from the beginning. Then I thought maybe if I went back to recovery week it would be okay. I've come so far & I can't give up now! It sucks doing so well, then having a setback. I think if I hadn't…
  • @KingsGirl4 I know how it could seem uncomfortable posting your results but your progress is truly amazing! As hard as it is to bare it all, so to speak, there are others out there who may find your story inspirational! It's more than fantastic! The obstacles you have overcome are amazing & I'm so proud to have been able…
  • That is Fantastic!!! You have come such a long way & I am SO proud of you! If you can inspire someone to make a life change, such as you have, you're doing it right! Good for you girl! You are amazing!
  • @VintageFeline I would be like, "What?! I look good? Damn right I do!" Lol! You earned it lil lady! Keep it up! @jenniejoy07 That is awesome! 25lbs is a tremendous achievement!
  • ^ I second that! ^ Woooo, hoooo!!!!
  • @julyskb So sorry I just saw your reply! After all of my boasting I caught a nasty head cold (compliments of my son) & had to take some time off. I was so excited to be following through & dedicating my time to the whole thing, then BAM! I always disliked it when people made excuses as to why they weren't able to continue,…
  • @KingsGirl4 I'm dying to hear all about your results! Are you finished up with Insanity? I soooo wish I was closer, but I can deal with a two week setback. Yesterday I (re)started recovery week & I felt weak during it but I'm counting down the days to when I'm at the finish line! @julyskb ... gam3rguy is a beast! From what…
  • @sweetaddiction257 I can relate to that! I was just commenting to VintageFeline that I had to take two weeks off (due to various reasons) & I was so glad I took her advice & went back to recovery week. Yesterday was my first day & I felt like such a weakling! I'm so proud of you for sticking this out! I wish I could be…
  • @VintageFeline How's Insanity treating you? I had to take two weeks off. The first week I had a nasty head cold, week two I was dizzy & had no energy then last Wednesday I pulled a muscle, somehow, by stepping down off of a step. Yesterday was my first day back & I'm so glad I took your advice & went back to recovery week.…
  • @VintageFeline I hope you're on the mend, that stinks! Like you, I'm looking for something to try after Insanity. So many choices to choose from, it's difficult to decide. Strength training comes to mind, at least that narrows it down some! ;)
  • Now you've got me thinking that may not be a bad idea. I don't know ... I would like to continue but I don't want anymore setbacks. I'm going to start week two, month two & see how I feel. One week isn't so bad. I'm just thankful its not an injury that is keeping me off. The first attempt at Insanity, I pulled a muscle in…
  • @VintageFeline I've only previewed the first day of month two. I was curious how long it was going to be & what type of sets they were going to have incorporated in the workouts. It was probably a good thing for me to know what to expect. I did, however, break down the fit test & the initial hour long video. I probably…
  • I totally agree with you on the suicide jumps! Holy Cow! Tonya is quite the machine, isn't she? How about Arielle? I honestly believe she looks more defined than she did in the first month. She's a beast!
