This thread made me think of the cool whip jay that I have in the fridge! I’ve been weighing in grams. Is it a huge difference?

I find that when I have too large of a deficit I binge. Every time. I haven’t binged once since I increased my calories so that I’m eating to sustain a .5/lb loss per week. I started allowing myself a little treat every day if I want that fits within my calories and I no longer feel deprived and like I need to eat…

I didn’t find whole 30 restrictive when it came to calories at all. Especially when increasing my healthy fats. Whole 30 does not cleanse your body nor does it claim it will. First, it is an elimination diet that helps you see what foods may or may not be bothering your system. The idea for cutting out sugar isn’t about…

I’ve completed a round. I didn’t lose weight, but I ate some amazing meals. I didn’t do it for weight loss though, I did it to learn some good freedom and to learn to cook more wholesome meals. If you are looking to lose weight I would cut out nuts, dried fruits, rxbars/larabars and fruit. There is a misconception that…

You are losing 1lb a week. That seems like a good rate of loss to me!

I don't eat a lot of veggies myself other than a fresh salad every couple of weeks. If I do make veggies when I'm cooking for the boyfriend then they are roasted in the Oven with olive oil, salt, pepper and mrs dash. Broccoli is my favourite like this. Green beans and mushrooms or zucchini is also tasty I do take have a…

Some things I've found helpful: -save sweets for special occasion or once a week dessert not an every day reward -limit my snacking. I used to be a horrible bedtime eater and now I will have a protein shake and scoop of greens if I'm actually hungry (which I'm realizing was never real hunger, just habit) -eat the foods I…

Curious about your experience quitting smoking - did your appetite increase significantly when you quit or did you eat to compensate? I'm working on quitting

I don't count macros per say but I do keep an eye and make sure that my protein goal is met daily. If I'm low I will have a protein shake with a scoop of greens or phytoberry.

I'm down 5.5lbs since the beginning of the month and about 3lbs from goal. A lot of that was water from my all you can eat month of February but I'm finally back to where I was at the end of January and happy with that. I'm really trying to focus the next month or so to get to goal. It seems like whenever I get to this…

Dairy does this to me.

I find this happens to me specifically when I'm trying to eat clean and "healthy" vs allowing myself to eat foods I love. What I've done is try to stay within my calorie goals and only eat what I love now. I no longer make a decision to eat just because it's good for me because I'm still going to end up craving what I love…

I'm working on being stricter and not getting set back on weekends - do you mind me asking what your average loss is when you stay strict?

I started February of last year. Got down to 112 last summer mostly by watching my calories - netting between 1000-1200 seems to be my sweet spot for losing. Then I trained for a half marathon in October and my appetite increased massively, I got in the habit of eating more at night and "treating myself" so during that…

5'0 here. My starting weight was 130 and it's been a long and slow journey to get down to my goal weight of 105. Slowly but surely!

Im late in the game but I'm going to join! LNS is my downfall and the reason I've been in maintenance for a couple months. Me: 1 LNS : 0 Streak : 1

I weigh everyday and then log that into the happy scale app. It helps me see my trend and that downward graph is motivating

Sounds normal. My resting heart rate is 51

I want to add that I did track Fitbit for a few months to see how accurate it was vs my weight loss and for me it actually slightly underestimated.

You walked 27km - that's 16 miles (more than a half marathon!). I'm not sure of your stats but to be honest 1900 calories for walking that distance (plus your additional calories for just living and moving around) doesn't sound that far off. Remember Fitbit is giving you a base BMR and the calories it gives you is anything…
