As mentioned, I have lost almost 5kgs in a month. Does anyone know if this would mostly be muscle? Although I've been counting calories using mfp, it doesn't feel like 'healthy' weight loss. Has anyone else lost dramatic weight whilst being hyperthyroid? Thanks!

Sounds awful! Okay thanks very much, hopefully the drop in medication will help over the next few weeks/months. Have you ever been hyperthyroid? How did this affect your weight loss? Thanks again.

If it helps to know, I am 5'5, currently weigh 156 pounds and am breastfeeding. I have been eating around 1800 calories per day, if not slightly more.

Could I pls add you all too? I had a baby 6 weeks ago and am currently the heaviest I have ever been at 171.6. I'm 5'5 and looking to get back down to 135. I'm feeling very down on myself atm and it seems impossible. Tiredness from caring for a new born can't be helping. I could do with some support. Thank you!

Thanks everyone! Feeling motivated by this drop whether its water or not and going to stay realistic with my expectations. My problem in the past has been staying consistent with my diet but if I sort this out I think I will be okay.

Hi - I took a look at your diary as I'm new to this and looking for meal ideas. Do you mind me asking why you take 2000mg of vit c supplements a day, is there are benefit to this when following a low carb diet? Thanks!
