I'm still in fat loss mode and am eating at a caloric deficit while doing a lot of cardio. I was looking at BCAAs to make sure I'm burning fat rather than loosing lean mass. I've lost 60 pounds of fat and am about to start strength training. Both my trainer and nutritionist are recommending BCAAs until I increase my…

It took a life threating medical event to finally open my eyes. I'm not trying to sound preachy, but, anyone who makes a determined effort will have success. My past failed attempts were due to me failing to do the work required.

It cost time and money to run a site like this one. I'm sure the people doing the work like to get paid.

Feel free to add me as a friend. I've lost over 50 pounds since February. You are averaging about 0.63 pounds/week loss. By changing your diet and exercise routine, you should be around 1 to 2 pounds/week. I'm confident you can get some great advise and support here.

I'm 46 and recovering from a massive hemorrhagic stroke and two brain surgeries. I was blessed just to survive, much less make nearly a full recovery. I'm recovering from a massive hemorrhagic stroke and two brain surgeries. So far, I've lost 50 pounds with about 15 to go. Nutrition is a very important component to weight loss. I'm assuming your nutritionist has that under control. Exercise both cardio and strength training is the other. Perhaps, a personal trainer if…

After almost losing my life to a massive hemorrhagic stroke and two brain surgeries, I'm very serious about taking charge of my health. I've lost over 48 pounds of fat with about 15 to go. Then it's off to visit the nutritionist to start building lean mass.

Feel free to add me. I'm very motivated and I'm taking my health serious.

I agree with the other posters. You are probably gaining some lean mass that offsets the weight of the fat you have lost. The scale is just one indicator and can be misleading.
