I'd suggest making some friends and sharing you diary so we can help keep you accountable. I'm very happy for you that you are taking steps to recover from your disorder.

Feel free to read my profile. I've had tremendous success despite having to overcome some life threating medical conditions. Once you get use to logging your food it will become second nature and won't be a problem. Don't let being afraid to fail cause you to fail to try. I realize this may seem overwhelming to you, but…

Hi Sandra, I'm Phillip. A friend request is in bound.

Do whatever you want as long as you're willing to live with results. I've given up unhealthy processed foods for smarter choices. The "I want to do whatever I want to do" attitude is what got most of us in trouble to begin with.

Hi.

Welcome, you've taken the first step! It's time to replace those tears with some sweat dripping from your brow. It all really boils down to you deciding to make a lifestyle change and following through. You have some serious medical issues (read my profile as I can relate) most of which can be improved by proper diet and…

Exercise is very important but your diet is even more critical. If you are not logging everything you eat, I would start there. Also, pre-planed meals have been very helpful to me. I always have a healthy alternative so I have no excuse to binge. Plan ahead and stick to that plan.

I've tried several times to lose weight several times over the years and failed. Last year I almost lost my life due to a really bad stroke and my mindset is completely changed. Amanda, I've found a take no prisoners attitude and refusing to allow myself to make excuses has led to success. If the words of the great…

Wear a heart rate monitor and find out how many calories you burn.
-
I've tried some of the optical heart rate monitors built into watches such as the Fitbit, Their problem was it would constantly lose my heart rate is the rate of change was too much. I've settled on a Garmin HRM with a vívofit 2. You can accurately monitor your heart rate just by glancing at your wrist.

Have fun screwing up your body by making poor choices. What is it you need from us?
-
Anything wrong with healthy carbs?
-
Yea, we need more of these "diets" to mislead people.
-
I'll just stick with a clean healthy diet where I control my calories and macros properly along with exercise. I'm not into fad or starvation diets.

Anyone if free to add me.

If you are not motived, there's really nothing we can do to help you. Motivation comes from within. If you would like to share exactly what you are eating and any exercise you do we could offer some sound advice. There's no special diet or magic pill that will help you. This will require a lifestyle change with lots of…

I've lost over 60lbs since February. My exercise and diet have been consistent and there have been weeks when I gained a few pounds and weeks when I've lost several pounds. I weigh myself daily, but, I understand that's only one piece of data and an increase in weight does not mean your body fat percentage is going up.
-
Weight gain is caused by a calorie surplus and not geographic location.
