I got an HR for Christmas too, its been giving me a calorie adjustment of 1300 calories in MFP on top of the 1500 a day that is set by my 2lbs a week goal and sedentary setting. I was doing MFP before i got the fitbit and my goal was always 1500 calories a day and 10,000 steps. The fitbit is very confusing, its telling me…

Outstanding effort, you look much younger too.

I feel its the best way, not to *kitten* on anyone elses system but i know my own mentality would have been to reward myself the first time I weighed myself and had lost weight. It took 6 weeks for my clothes to start getting looser and by that time i was more disciplined.

Wow, amazing. You did so well, beautiful girl too

Thank you so much Jenn

Ive found its what works for me, i was slacking on my 10,000 steps over the past month but thankfully i got a fitbit as a Christmas gift so its my new motivation

Thank you, simplicity really works. The activity level has been key, im always trying to beat my previous days steps. Another plus side is if youre out walking then you're not tempted to eat out of boredom

I would get hung up on the numbers too, i feel if i was weighing myself every week and losing id want to treat myself. The way im doing it now it takes time to notice the progress, waiting for clothes to get baggier takes a few weeks but when it happens and i can go buy new clothes its a good feeling.

Thank you so much

When i went home to Scotland back in September there was a lot of "Is everything ok?" Thank you very much

Sorry to hear you've had a sh*tty time of late. 50lbs before July is doable so long as you're motivated. I find it best to go with it when your mind is set on it, i know its tempting to wait till the New Year for the clean slate aspect of it but if your head is in the right place you should go for it right away.

I was off it for the last 6 weeks, i didnt slip too badly back into the bad eating habits i had before but i wasnt as strict with myself as ive been the rest of the year. I got a fitbit for a gift yesterday so its gave me that motivation i needed. Get back on it, no time like the present

Chance would be a fine thing
