Recommitting to keto today. I started keto in October and unfortunately had to travel unexpectedly and rely on others for meals two weeks ago. Back on track though and as committed as before! Love how I felt for those four weeks.

I try to, I always find I'm hungrier in the late afternoon and the evening, so I tend to eat the majority of my calories then.

38 y/o female Height 5' 9" SW 218 CW 213 GW 160 Net intake: 1650 Maintenance: 2120 I've set my goal to lose a pound a week and I've been doing so fairly consistently over the past month.

I struggle with this as well. We have a lot of meetings and there are always treats. I have three different ways of handling these meeting snacks. Sometimes I just bring the snacks and ensure there are healthier, lower calorie treats; sometimes i budget for it in my day; and sometimes I just politely decline.

Interestingly, I just did my calculation for maintenance based on my goal weight, and it's within 50 calories of my current intake, set to lose a pound a week!

Same here.

Daily weigher and happy scale user here as well!

I make a lot of soups and stews, it's great because I can make a pot on the weekend and freeze it in portions to throw in the microwave.

When I weighed almost 320, my first step was to walk for the mail every day. It's only about 80 meters there and back but it was a start. It was such a small change it was almost insignificant. I've lost over 100 pounds, one small change at a time. There have been setbacks along the way, but I just keep on moving forward…

Why do you want to switch?

Desk job here too! I walk every day at lunch with one of my colleagues and I have two massive dogs who don't take well to not being walked every night, so they motivate me to get up and go. I can't currently do anything else, but as soon as I get the green light I will be doing 6 am yoga class and starting C25K all over…

This. I just stay on track and know that it's just hormonal.

This one is tasty and has 11g carbs per serving: http://www.diabeticlivingonline.com/recipe/coconut-blueberry-cheesecake-bars/

You can add me if you like! I've logged for 43 days. It's starting to feel like a lifestyle now.

I place a pork tenderloin in a Ziploc bag with some ranch, lemon juice, garlic, and pepper. Leave it overnight and then grill over indirect heat. You get that great ranch flavour, this is a go-to for me!

Grilled chicken and vegetables served with pita and tzatziki!

This is my go to! You can use canned chicken, and of course, it doesn't have to be served on naan. http://www.thewednesdaychef.com/the_wednesday_chef/2007/05/donna_deanes_cu.html

Our flyers come on Wednesday afternoon, so normally on Wednesday or Thursday evening I take a look and see what's on sale. Then I do an inventory of what's in the freezer. For example at the moment, I have lots of chicken and pork, so I am looking for beef on sale. Then I try and flesh out what we want for the week based…

The only restriction I have is that if I can't make it fit in my calories, I don't eat it. Generally speaking of course. We all have days we go over, but mine are few and far between.

I went up 7 pounds in a weekend. It was all off again within three days, so it was mostly water weight due to eating some delicious salty foods. It was a good reminder to me to watch my sodium intake!

Same here OP. I do the majority of the cooking. I make healthy meals and he eats more. He also has a cupboard full of calorically dense snacks. His intake is +/- 4000 calories a day and mine hovers around 1600.

I had a guy randomly message me about working out and then he veered into getting hit in the man parts at kickboxing. I tried to steer away and he just kept bringing it back. Mentioned the husband and he got super snarky. It was just bizarre, he wanted to know if I'd ever hit a man there, if I'd ever seen a guy get hit…

Add the cubed sweet potatoes and caramelize on all sides. Add coconut milk and broth; reduce to a simmer and cook,…

Since I had a MIrena IUD placed, yes. Every 28 days between 9:00 am and 10:00 am. It's such a relief to have that regularity after years of never knowing.
-
I work treats into my daily/weekly allowance.
-
Sounds to me like you've exhausted all the other options. I applaud you for being so proactive in your own medical care!
-
I totally did this as well.

I think you have very carefully weighed the options available and made the best decision for you and your family based on the information available to you. Only you can know what is the right choice for you and your family. Best of luck to you, that's a really hard decision to make.
