You are at a normal bmi at 136lb and 5'6"...since you are already at a healthy weight you will lose anymore weight very slowly. Using a scale and accurate logging is by far the best way to know exactly how many calories you are eating in a day. You should probably ditch the major cheat days if you really want to lose.

This; I realized long ago that forcing myself to eat things I don't like was pointless. I lose weight just fine by eating what I like to eat. Don't make food stressful OP - you'll be just fine without the veggies (maybe add a multivitamin and maybe supplement fiber if you find that you need it).

Most of the stuff my once best friend who is now a BeachBody Coach posts on social media.

lol, I was proposed to while in pyjamas sitting on the couch watching tv and eating a bagel. I felt great and how I looked was literally the last thing on my mind.

I eat a lot of meat and seafood, dairy, grains, fruits, and the vegetables that I enjoy. I definitely consider myself a food aficionado - I just don't force myself to eat things that I don't like. How can people who don't eat meat consider themselves a food aficionado? That is 100% your opinion, I happen to have the…

Everyone has left such great tips! Just know that you don't need to force vegetables on yourself if you hate them. I not a huge fan of vegetables and I got super discouraged forcing them into my diet. So now, I don't worry about them - there are some salads and other things with vegetables I like and eat regularly - but I…

The exercises are fine but the containers are a worthless gimmick. Just weigh all your food, log it, and eat at a deficit.

I had my gallbladder out 20 years ago - I've never taken bile salts nor have I been recommended to take them. I have no real digestive issues except occasional acid reflux. I don't even have trigger foods but I do eat a balanced diet. Please go to a medical doctor before you take these bile salts, naturopaths/holistic…

Lean Cuisines are making my life so easy. The macros are pretty good on some of them (find ones with 19+ grams of protein and they won't leave you hungry) and this week they were $1.29 each if you bought 6 or more so I stocked up. I hate cooking and I do not want to be talked at about how easy it is to "meal prep."…

Week 7 Day 1 - I had to walk for two minutes after the 17 minute mark and ran the last 8. I couldn't get in the groove and get my breath under control. I think I was dehydrated and will try week 7 day 2 in a few days and see how it goes. It was so strange because week 6 day 3 was easy! Ugh, I guess it was just a bad run.

This is exactly how I am - this time around I'm working on having a healthy mental relationship with the counting. Losing weight is very simply eat less than you burn. No gimmicks - it is the only thing that truly works.

I'm 31 - SW178 CW 165 GW 145 - 150. I'm less concerned with the number - I want to build some serious muscle, so I'm not sure what I'll weigh when I'm happy with how I look/feel. I definitely want to look 30-50lbs less than when I started:) Persistence and patience and we'll all get there!

I second this except I prefer a plain glazed or jelly donut...and I'm not a Brit :)

I've been lurking since this thread began and have nothing but good intentions and support for the OP. Can I please get an invite too?

If I ever have a meal that I don't know (or don't care to figure it out) - I will quick add 1000 calories for that meal. I do this very rarely but it's better than nothing and keeps me on track with logging.

Exactly what I was going to say...
