Everyone thinks I'm strange for eating quick oats raw but I love mixing a bit of vanilla yogurt wth fresh berries and a few almonds with quick oats . or oats and raisins and cinnamon with quick oats and a little Yogurt ..and on and on! Ok now I'm hungry again!!

Why is it when I roast vegetables they get dried out even though I use olive oil to coat them?? So annoying!

Mountain bikes definitely require more effort! Do you go on trails a lot? I switched to a hybrid and it really makes huge difference . I am by no means a "serious" rider, usually 18 miles a day.

I do the same thing, but I think most would say it's bad if you make judgements about yourself based in a number. Or become too occupied with it. I want to rely on how my clothes feel to judge but I always default to the scale, imprecise as it is. I like weighing after a long bike ride or run too, it just makes me feel…

I think Switching up the exercise is a great strategy, I bet that will make the difference. Plus now you'll be adding weight bearing exercise, I always worry about that when I cycle too much but I love the freedom!

I agree it's hard not to be an all or nothing eater, either I ate perfectly or I totally ruined the day...BUT I think I'm learning that it's what you do on a regular basis that matters, not the slip ups that happen occasionally. It's hard to be objective about ourselves but I bet you would be really supportive of a friend…
