  • Welcome back tlh68! I was where you were before too. I enjoy life way more now but still working toward my goals!
  • I eat oatmeal almost every morning for breakfast but when I want to change it up I love making a breakfast sandwich with 1 whole egg, two egg whites scrambled, turkey bacon, and a little avocado on a whole wheat english muffin. Its very satisfying and has a good balance of nutrients.

  • I tried them but did not love the taste. I am also picky about what I am putting into my body and found a healthier alternative that doesn't contain soy, artificial sweeteners, or artificial additives. Again that is just me. It wont hurt you to try and see how you like it.
  • Also Hip thrusters if you are just looking for a simple move to add into your leg day.
  • Check out Strong Curves By Brett Contreras. Its a book/fitness guide with workout plans. Hes known as the glute guy. There is a lot of good info in there about how to build a better backside and how certain moves can help you get there fast. Also he talks about being a female and training for our bodies. I highly recommend…
  • progress photos. When I can see visually the work that I have been putting in it really motivates me to stick with it!
  • I recommend T25. It is just over your 20 minute mark (they are all 25 mins) but Shaun T makes you work hard and you will see amazing results! I used his program this time last year and lost about 8lbs (I was 150 went down to 142). For me that was amazing! I had been stuck for a while. If you want more info just send me a…
  • Yep, been there still struggle with it. I know for me it has taken a long time to get where I am and it will take even longer to get where I want to be but I am willing to put in the work. I know how much better I feel when I am eating healthy and working out consistently and I don't want to lose that. For me my big wake…
  • I have a magicbullet as well and it is pretty loud but everything is blended nicely and its not crazy expensive like others. If I could afford it though I probably would have gone with a vitamix. My parents have one and it is amazing!
  • Just drink it as a treat every no and again. I love cherry coke zero and even though its no calories the sodium in it is a killer! So I limit myself to once or twice a week at most. Even then I try to stay away and will drink sparkling water with lemon or strawberries in it.

  • Its most likely bloat from the cheat meal. Don't panic to much like ericaeast92 said just drink your water and keep moving. Your body will level out in the next day or two.
  • You can do it! After I had my son I was 179!!! (I am 5'2"). It was not easy but after a year I got down to pre-pregnancy weight of 140. I am trying to get to 130. Would love to support you along the way so we can both reach out goals!
  • First off congrats on losing that much weight so far! My only suggestion would be to keep pushing through. I don't know about the feeling better before because honestly when I eat poorly I feel it. Don't get me wrong it tastes amazing! But then I beat myself up over it or my body rebels and I am bloated and crabby for a…
  • Your Journal looks great! I might suggest upping your protein. But this could also be something you do in a week or two if your progress stalls or you find yourself getting a bit more hungry. Combining protein and healthy fats in a snack is a great way to stay full. For example greek yogurt with almonds or sliced turkey…
  • Don't let it get you down. Every day is different and everyone is on different plans. It is hard to hit your numbers perfect as MFP suggests. Some days you will be slightly over on carbs or fats, but its just one day! Like Rabbit mentions its a tool to help YOU reach YOUR goals. So if you feel good and have energy to do…
  • I am with you! I have 7lbs to lose until I hit my goal weight!
  • Hey, I work out at home as well! Sometimes its harder to stay motivated once I get home but I'm always working toward my goals!

  • I am the same, I have to change my diet frequently. I usually spend an hour on Saturday planning my meals for the upcoming week then food prep Sunday. I try to stick to clean eating and keep myself motivated by remembering my goals and why I started.
  • I love that you said even if you dont hit your goal you will be closer than you were before. That is totally what this is about, its a lifestyle not a quick fix. Just gotta keep chuggin away until you are happy with where your at.
  • I get like this if I wait to long to eat or miss a meal throughout the day. I currently eat 5-6x a day and waiting even an hour longer makes me ravenous. This is all about finding what works for you, so don't be afraid to mix things up. If you are currently eating 3 meals a day try switching to eating 5 smaller meals. If…

  • I love my curves and lifting weights is how I have been able to keep them. I would not be to happy to loose my booty!
  • Congrats Mommy! I have two little ones myself, 1.5 years and 4 years old. Its not always easy to get workouts in but I know I am a better mommy to them when I am taking care of myself.
  • Hey Kim, welcome and good luck on your journey. Feel free to add me as a friend if you need support!

  • Jameselmore76 you can do it! Its not always easy but I think thats the beauty of having the internet. You can connect with people at any given time of day going through similar stuff or find motivation. If you need help all you have to do is ask! Like the saying "Its never easy but its always worth it!"
  • What is everyone doing workout wise? I am on my last 10 lbs of weight loss. I am currently 137 but I would like to be at around 130 (5'2"). I eat around 1800 calories each day and workout 6 days a week (combination of weights and cardio, all at home because I have two kids and a job and the gym locally has no daycare). I…
  • hhqtpi, I can totally relate! This has been me since a recent vacation (4 weeks ago now). I was going strong before then got thrown completely off. Getting back on track is tough, and what worked for me was remembering all the reasons I want to be fit and healthy. I am so close to my goals that giving up now would be a…
