A diabetic diet can be very helpful for weight loss. But this sounds like a gimmick diet that is doomed to fail. I agree with Carlos_421. Use MFP to set realistic goals and you will see success and be much more likely to stick with it. Good luck.

You look great!

Having "good shoes" might not be "right shoes". Were you properly fitted and did you have your stride evaluated? I had shin splints for years and years. Once I was properly assessed and fitted, I never had them again. Any good quality running store should be able to offer you this service. Good luck!

Completed it. I am planning to move on to some of her other workout DVDs and rotate through them to try and cut down on the monotony a bit. I still alternate days with my treadmill interval running so it isn't too bad. But I definitely like the results I got from 30DS. Jillian is a bad-*kitten*.

6 for me. I can't wait.

I second the opinion of getting yourself to a professional bra fitter. I know that our local Nordstrom store has several on staff and their expertise not only can save you money but give you a look that will flatter your physique in various brands (which means various sizes). One size simply does not work across brands…

What about Natural News? :p

I prefer the direct method. "Touch my *kitten* again and you will be walking funny for the next few days. Your choice."

The OP makes me both sad for her and extremely happy I don't have to spend one second of my life worrying about this.

I make fish sticks using tilapia cut to size and panko. Sprinkle the fish with salt and pepper, dredge in flour (shake off excess) then coat in 1 egg, lightly beaten. Dredge in the panko. Lightly coat the pieces in cooking spray then bake on a wire rack over a cookie sheet at 425 for about 8-10 minutes. Served with oven…

Fridays are my weigh days. I had a not-so-good week calorie wise. I missed a couple of work outs. I got on the scale this morning hoping I just had not gained. Wham! Down 2 pounds. Unlike other weeks where I kill myself and get hardly any movement. I seriously thought my scale was broken and made my husband step on just to…

Congratulations! Very well done and very inspirational. B)

I have no self control around chips and pizza and french fries. Obviously sodium is the problem. /sarcasm

I don't generally eat low carb but today I made my first spiralized "pasta" dish using summer squash and pesto. So easy and very delicious. Can't wait to try some more recipes.

Imagine that all the people working at the fast food place have some sort of gastrointestinal illness that is highly contagious.

After the shock wore off, I'd probably use it as motivation to make her eat her words. She who laughs last, laughs best. I don't know if HR is warranted at this point. But I'd definitely send an email to my boss about the incident in order to document it and to let my boss know that if this type of behavior continues, you…

Geocaching is loads of fun and can be a great workout when you do caches you hike to.

As I posted above, I learned how to make sushi from a 4 hour cooking class at a reputable cooking school. (The best part is that we got to eat all the rolls we made at the end of the class, there were about 15 tables of "chefs") The take home message was to know your local fish monger and get the freshest possible. The…

I actually did a month of Vegan Before 6 http://markbittman.com/tag/vb6/ I did this because like others, I thought it could kick start some weight loss and I would feel better reducing my intake of animal products. The one problem I didn't count on was not being able to be away from a toilet for any length of time - not…

Love it.

You had me at "tall" (I'm an amazon at 6 feet) but lost me at "clean". Don't know about you but I wash all my fruits and veggies....lol. At any rate, I wish you success.

Very helpful information. I was actually sitting her contemplating making 1 serving and spreading it on a cracker to try it out. Maybe I'll just wait until I make my dish and go from there. I love the idea of trying it in a shake! :)

Perfect timing for this thread! I just finished my meal planning for the week and I'm going to be making an Asian-inspired dish that calls for an ingredient I'd never heard of before - peanut butter powder. Anyone else ever tried/used this? My husband actually found it at the store. The label says to mix 2 tablespoons of…

Check out youtube for how to use them. I was so confused at first! And good job on pushing through the soreness with your workout. B)

I love sushi and sashimi. I look at it as a treat for once-in-awhile though. I did actually take a sushi rolling class once (loads of fun) and can make my own but it is a lot of work when the rest of my family aren't huge fans. I tend to lean toward the rolls with cream cheese and avocado with salmon or tuna. Yum.

And not explaining it here would lead the rest of us to believe you are doing some sort of shake or fast that you are trying to sell. Whatever it is, sounds unhealthy and I hope the OP does not pay attention to whatever it is. Edit to add: I am not the one who flagged your post, BTW. I'm actually not a fan of flagging any…
