There is no reason not to eat at night. I like eating at night, even right before bed. Save calories through the day, perhaps 100 from every meal, and you can have something later on. Also if you are out of calories, I have found tea to be a life saver.

I'm not for eliminating favourites, but I have found some things are so calorie dense for how little I get to eat, they get replaced with lower calorie stuff without me really noticing.

There are typically two columns for nutritional info, "per serving" and "per 100gm". I figure out how many calories 100gm is and determine my own serving size from there.
