My Dr told me to eat 3 small meals and 2 light snacks and no eating within 2 hours of bedtime. I have yet to get it down to a schedule but once I do im sure it will help out alot.. I have 5 kids in the house so its a little chaotic around here lol.

@AnvilHead thank you so much for your information.. and your meal sounds very yummy!!! I have tried cauliflower as a cheese sauce in mac and cheese to trick my kids into eating veggies and i wouldnt even eat it but i would love to try it as a mashed potatoes version.. thanks for that idea :)

@jgnatca parboiled rice is the main rice i use.. My mother in law got me hooked on it because it doesnt get sticky when you cook it lol.. Thanks everyone for taking the time to respond. It is very much appreciated!!!

I didnt realize there was so many varieties to this stuff lol but i typically use the one to the left when i use brown rice.. Thank you so much for taking time to answer my questions it really means alot.. @PlantBasedKnight

. Great Thanks!! We typically eat more potatoes as well but use a fair share of rice. Is brown rice and wild rice a better option? I use that a good bit also

Ok great. Is high carb a good thing? I see everyone post so many different things about low calorie diets, low carb diets, low fat diets. Im so confused

You look amazing!!! I am also 5'2" and started my goal on January 1st. I started out at 203 and my goal is around 150. I know this journey will be a long one but it will be the best thing I have done for myself in a long time. Congratulations on your halfway mark and keep up the good work!!

Ok thank you guys for your help!! The short workout is only 9 minutes ( there are 2 short workouts) and then it has a 1 hour dvd and a 4 hour dvd. I was able to do the 2 short 9 minute workouts today ( definitely felt the burn, this is my first time doing any real exercise in a very long time).
