https://www.aworkoutroutine.com/start-here/ This is a great place to get info. It is my opinion that bodybuilding and diet have the most myths associated with them out of all subjects on earth. The guy who made this page is all common sense with none of the myth nonsense. It’s a lot of info but if you want to know it, it’s…

I’m no expert but everything I’ve read says .8-1.5 g/lb. Thats what I try to stick to and it seems to be working. I’m usually right at 1g/lb or a little below.

I raise you two legs.

Don’t know for sure but I’d bet they are more active/don’t eat as much as they think. 100% of the time when I eat more calories, I gain weight. When I eat less calories, I lose weight.

I’m not accepting that definition. I hereby declare woo is a positive thing which means “woo hoo! Good job! Alright! Nice going!” Woo me all you want! 🤣

I much rather have a small breakfast and small lunch so I know I have enough calories leftover to eat at night. I’ll take being a little hungry in the morning and afternoon. I was miserable when I’d get to dinner starving and realize I only have 300 calories left for the day. 😡😀 It’s afternoon now and I have over 1100…

That’s an awesome site. Thanks for that. I might have to get that Musclepharm next time. What a deal!

👍🏼 Wassup man. Just a gym bro here. Do you compete?

I have bad shoulders so I have to be careful with range of motion with certain exercises. I like to try different exercises or different versions of exercises to help my shoulders and to vary it up. I was trying to find a YouTube video but I can’t find it. It’s by mountaindog1. He showed a different version of the Dumbbell…

Noooooo. I have been called Andre Agassi when I had a mullet. 🤣🤣

I always try to stay under my calorie goal. Exercise or not. As long as you’re not dangerously low on calories, the only thing that will happen is you’ll lose weight a little faster if you don’t eat them back. This also gives you room for a splurge day. If I’m 200 calories below goal for 6 days, i’ll be 1200 calories below…

I’m 5’ 7” and start seeing abs about 150 pounds. I’m about 143 now and still cutting. I don’t know how to add a link to this post but if you search for Dexa scan, I have a post where I have some progress pics. I was 9.1% bf last September and am trying to see if I can get lower by this August when I schedule another Dexa…

I run the same workouts until I get bored with it which always seems to be between 8 and 15 times. Then I change most of the exercises, lower the weights and slowly try to increase weight and/or reps over another 8-15 workouts.

Also, I’d suggest videoing your lifts. I was doing clavicle pulls and didn’t even realize it until I saw my video. It helped me improve my form which I’m still working on.

I do them after my PT suggested them. They’re not really for rear delts, they’re a secondary muscle for the lift. They are mostly for those criminally ignored little muscles of the rotator cuff and middle back. I don’t like the lack of stability either. I do almost all back exercises with some kind of support. For these, I…

Woo is a good thing, not a bad thing. Somebody “woo” this post please!

Update! 160 lbs. 13% BF according to the handheld. Gained about 15 lbs since October eating about 3000 calories a day. Starting cut today at 1900 calories a day. My only goal is to beat my first Dexa scan. First scan came back 9.1% BF. I want to be less than 9% by the end of August.

I like 4 or 5 days a week. Push, pull, legs split is what I always go back to.

I like Strong.

I guess I’ll throw away all my weight loss wraps now. 🤣

I think both will work but from what I've been reading, diet is for weight control and cardio is for heart health. At 185 and 6'1", you must be pretty lean already, no?

I’ve been pigging out for 4 days at Cruisin’ the Coast car show in Biloxi, Mississippi. My home scale shows I gained 6 pounds. 😲
