I have pcos. Bought some inositol, tried it for a few months, saw no results. Feel like I wasted money

I have a sweet tooth. I keep around 70 calorie packs of fruit snacks. This way I can indulge my craving without blowing my calorie goals out the water for the day.
-
In situations like this I prefer to eat slowly so I can stop when I'm full. At least that cuts back on the calories if I don't overeat.
-
I ate a reasonable serving of my favorite potato chips and did not binge.

They have a circuit at my gym with ten weight machines. In between each machine you do one minute of cardio.
-
I always assumed you had to be pretty fit in the first place to do Crossfit. Thanks for teaching me something new.
-
You look like a new person!

Pick up a ten pound weight and carry it around for a little to really get a sense for what you've lost.

I eat unhealthy food all the time. I just portion it into my calorie allotment for the day. This morning I had a four count chicken minis from Chik Fil A and for lunch I'm having a Burger King Whopper with no cheese no mayo. Instead of getting the fries I'm bringing a 100 calorie snack pack of pringles with me to Burger…

If you can control yourself to eat a reasonable sized portion (moderation), Oreo has packs of mini oreos that are about 130 calories. I treated myself this week to one that I found at Walmart.
-
I updated my profile pic today so that people can see what I actually look like now.

What on earth does one put on a sandwich to make it 1500 calories?? I'm glad they had the calories posted to deter folks from ordering it.

A couple of years ago I lost 25 lbs while living a sedentary lifestyle. My success was that I counted calories on my fitness pal.
-
I'm not a big drinker but when I do want a drink I find one that I like that fits into my calorie allotment for the day. I think you can drink in moderation and still lose weight, but the reality is that binge drinking is probably going to cost too many calories.
-
I predict I was about 70 pounds lighter in my profile pic. And I think it was taken about five years ago.

I too could easily eat a whole sleeve of Oreos if they were around. I am at the point where I cannot have them around because they are a binge trigger for me. I've been buying the Oreo 100 calorie packs. No they are not the same but I eat those instead.

You're the second person who has said that on this thread. Very interesting to me! I had never considered that before. I think I assumed it would make me feel dehydrated.
-
I knew someone would ask that! I can't remember exactly what it was to be honest. I sort of rounded it in my mind as between 120-140.

The gym folks did an assessment and then gave me a target heart rate range to stay within.
-
I started off doing the treadmill. Now I combine that with the weight circuit they have. You do a little cardio in between each weight machine. I do make sure to stretch before and after, also warm up and cool down.

There are moments where I'm like yes I got this I'm killing it and then other times I'm like what on earth am I doing? This is hard!
-
I try to eat something nutritious like a Kind bar about 1.5 hours before going to the gym.
-
When I did an assessment at the gym they said I was properly hydrated. But I have been wondering if I should drink more water. I was getting headaches while exercising for awhile, so I upped my water intake a bit. Haven't had anymore headaches.

My friends tell me to cut myself some slack and that it will just take time to get used to this lifestyle change.

2000 calories/day. not low carb

Don't stress it. It could just be water weight. If you were eating out a lot on vacation you may have been having more sodium than normal.
-
Maybe you can try to give them your reasons for losing. I had to break it down that way for some people so they would see that it was about my health. I think they assumed I wanted to do it for vanity reasons (which is fine if that's someone's reason, but it wasn't my reason).

I would say in my office about half are overweight and half are not. But some of the ones I know who aren't overweight have gained some weight recently and are struggling with healthy lifestyles. Some days they do well with diet and exercise, other days are harder. I can only think of one person in the office who it seems…

There was one roller coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia that I could not fit on due to my bust. I was really embarrassed.
