I've just been buying Halo Top so that I can get that ice cream fix without worrying about if I will go overboard. It tastes good, but not AS good as the full fat stuff, so I don't feel like I want to eat as much.

You can always add exercise at the end of the day after you've eaten all you are going to eat for the day. It will still show up but it might make counting easier.

You could just only have one plate of food, try to choose healthy foods, fill half of the plate with veggies, and then do your best to estimate calories. At least then you know you did your best to eat a healthy meal.

I actually eat a fair amount of fast food. I research healthy options or lower calorie options at fast food restaurants because I enjoy the convenience. I guess what I'm saying is that if you feel too tired or overwhelmed to cook, you don't have to resort to a fat bomb of a meal. You have to find motivation from within to…

I am about 100 pounds overweight and cannot run. I tried to for awhile and it was very painful. The doc finally had to tell me to stop and do something else. It was disappointing but I find other things to do instead.

I say don't keep the binge foods around. If you really want something, go out and buy a single serving of that item. Or, find something healthier that can you can munch on that will distract you. Also if you eat fried foods, start eating them grilled, steamed, baked, or pan seared instead. That's been a big change for my meals.

I always envied people who could make a few small changes and see results. I have to dive right in and make big changes in my behavior in order to see a change on the scale.
