I also use my iPhone for step tracking and calorie burn... something happened a few months ago and calorie burn credit seemed to be reduced. I don't know if that was due to iOS or MFP. Anyway, for what it's worth, at the moment I have 16,206 steps and a calorie credit of 191 from Apple Health. I don't know how accurate…

I'm currently using Universal Nutrition Ultra Whey Pro (mocha cappuccino), as I got a good deal on 5lbs. I've also tried chocolate and vanilla for creamer alternatives. Some people might have a hard time adjusting but it works for me. I should mention that I'm not tied to a particular brand of protein powder and generally…

Guilt? Hysteria? Not sure what you're referring to... For me it's just about non-calorie sugar alternatives, as every calorie counts when on a cut. =)

I adjusted quickly to a little Stevia in my coffee. Okay, this will probably sound weird - but I love some of the tasty creamers but don't like the extra calories. Soooo... I started mixing flavored protein powder into my morning cup of coffee. This gives me an additional 20g of protein each day for the same calories I was…

...probably because older people are much less susceptible to the constant barrage of sheeple marketing messages instructing everyone what they must buy/wear or what is currently cool and uncool... so they make their own decision (*choke!* *gasp!*) on what they prefer instead.

I'm 50+ (maybe I should say 50++) ...anyway, I'm in Florida. Glad to hear you're getting back on the wagon. Make encouraging MFP friends - and stick with it! Best of luck to you!

It's easy to become impatient when you first start and the losses are slow - but the weight loss WILL come. To be prudent, you may wish to double check that you're being accurate with your calorie count. It's easy to underestimate your intake. Not saying that's what you're doing - but you might wish to eliminate that…

Fantastic job - you look great! Everyone looks great. This is such an inspirational thread!

The picture on the left is how I looked a year ago, after battling a multi-year medical issue that made a wreck out of me. I'm embarrassed to post this pic - but I want to show anyone looking that YOU can do this. You just have to start and stay with it. I'm not where I want to be yet... but I'm much closer than I was a…

Good luck! - I'm interested in following your progress.

^^^ This! I try to always leave some calories for late evening - or I feel like I'm deprived. Just a bad habit I developed, I guess - but having a cup of tea and a late snack is mostly every night for me. I purposely allow calorie room to enable this. Good luck!

Kudos for reaching 160! I just reached the same weight - but from the other direction - down from 176. I was the dreaded skinny fat and still need to lose a little more body fat before I do a reverse and try my first bulk. I've even gained muscle from lifting on my calorie deficit, due to being in such pitiful shape. Lol.…
