I'm also down to the last 10 pounds, what keeps me motivated are some of the great, healthy recipes available on this site and many others online and seeing if I can leave some calories "on the table" every day!

I usually eat back some of my exercise calories, but I like to leave about 300 calories "on the table" to adjust for any inaccuracies in logging both calories and exercise. This seems to work for me, so far, but I am at about 1300 per day right now, so when I have to cut back to 1200' I guess I will have to walk a little…

I know what you're talking about. For me, faithfully logging food and exercise and patience to wait for the loss to come is the thing that gives me the strength to continue on toward my goal.

Today: Baked apple and sausage oatmeal 1/2 c yellow peppers with 2 tbsp. spinach and artichoke hummus Salsa Salad one grapefruit supper will be pork sausage goulash with cauliflower rice, spinach and zucchini not too sure about dessert hopefully there are enough calories left over for a little something!

Breakfast is flax pancakes with sugar free syrup and three strawberries Lunch I romaine and Kale salad with half avocado and some hummus One egg for a snack and one pear for another snack Dinner will be sausage and veggie stir fry Dessert, butterscotch heaven

I can tell you that I lost over 100lbs on this diet a few years ago. The protein is unlimited as long as you watch your portion sizes. All Phases do limit calories and carbs...... oh yes, and sugars too!

I believe it is because MFP increases the calories and everything else based on the cardio exercise you put in, so if you burn 150 calories doing aerobic exercises, you get to eat 150 more calories that day
