I'm about to go into a 3 day meeting! Three 10 hour days of meetings. ugh! But, we asked staff to buy healthier snack options. We have a huge veg tray, a fruit tray, a cheese tray, whole grain crackers, and trail mix. I'll be okay.

Great to hear...I think that might be all it takes...having someone request they need some healthy options. Yay you!

    Today's Menu:

L: amy's light and lean something or other
S: kosher dills chopped salad with rice vinegar

Huge progress today...in a clean office with no boxes...(just do not go in the guest bathroom...LOL...moved them in there...that bathroom is huge)...but emptied so many...love my new home...perfect for my LME and me.)

So lucky this week, down one and a half pounds, I count calories and stick to the sbd, I have hashimoto's and losing is extremely challenging, also had to greatly increase exercise, more than double what I used to do before this new bump in the road and the recent 20 pound gain! So far, down four pounds every one of them a fight.

Losing weight with Hashi's is so hard! My sister has it as well, and has such a difficult time.

Day three of my meeting begins soon.
I did great on day one.
Pretty well on day two ( a few too many whole wheat crackers!)
Today I'm stocking up on the vegetables more.

Sabine, it was not much of a loss this week, but it was a big loss the week before. What was so exciting was for me to see that ONE next to the four...getting ever so close to get back to the 130s...truly, I was in the right place at the right time when you mentioned the reboot. And taking the risk (not much of a risk to tag along with you)...was the best thing ever for me.

    Thanks a million! <3

I made the succotash! Fava beans, cucumber, corn, red peppers and onion. And after it was done I added shaved Parmesan on top. DAMNED good!

Always grateful to the shout out on a reboot, Sabine. I would never be where I am today without your push to reboot SB. <3

Checking in! Been doing pretty well. I bought a sprilizer on impulse and have been having fun with that.

    Today's plan (a little odd)
    B: baked salmon
    L: big fat cobb salad
    D: tempeh chimichuri over asparagus

    I'm experimenting with not snacking.

Been away, sorry. Went and saw Joe Cross in person last Wednesday. Bought a juicer today...started juicing in addition to eating. Not just juicing. I pretty much eat a plant based diet as it is (thanks to Sabine's reboot 2/11) ...so for now, going to incorporate some of the recipes. Today and next several days, Joe's Mean Green: cukes, celery, kale, apples, ginger, lemon...excellent.

    Today's Menu:

    B: Joe's Mean Green
L: Ezekiel Pizza, leafy greens (costco variety), Newman's Light Italian
    S: Joe's Mean Green
    S: cantaloupe, steamed edamame
Di: tilapia, squash yellow and green, more dark leafy green salad
    De: fresh blueberries
    De: popcorn and tea

Will switch things up later...but I think the Mean Green is great to start the day...like I said, at least for now.

beets are a big part of his recipes...well, from what I saw...I bought the two books...his newest was what he was promoting...the 7 keys...his next movie will be geared to younger people...I think up to 20 years of age. I have watched both movies so many times...lots of great info in there ... not just juicing...for sure not just the juicing part...but the reclaiming of one's life...and getting off meds. I think I have done pretty well...66 and no Rx meds. He says we are responsible for 70% of it...the illnesses...30% is just bad luck.

He has a great following on reboot with joe...or something like that...and he has a facebook page. He surrounds himself with Joel Fuhrman and Dean Ornish...and lots of other very smart people. He says he is not the authority...just a bloke who wanted to get his like back on track.
