    I'd love to meet him.

    More plants!

My day: veggie burger patty, hard boiled egg, some nuts
    salmon caesar salad
fabulous salad: beets, apple, bleu cheese, toasted nuts
    chardonnay

beets are a big part of his recipes...well, from what I saw...I bought the two books...his newest was what he was promoting...the 7 keys...his next movie will be geared to younger people...I think up to 20 years of age. I have watched both movies so many times...lots of great info in there ... not just juicing...for sure not just the juicing part...but the reclaiming of one's life...and getting off meds. I think I have done pretty well...66 and no Rx meds. He says we are responsible for 70% of it...the illnesses...30% is just bad luck.

He has a great following on reboot with joe...or something like that...and he has a facebook page. He surrounds himself with Joel Fuhrman and Dean Ornish...and lots of other very smart people. He says he is not the authority...just a bloke who wanted to get his like back on track.

He does have good, smart friends, for sure. I've watched both movies as well. I liked the second one more, but enjoyed them both.
The KEY with EVERYTHING I've read and seen (including his stuff) is: you've got to limit the heavily refined, low quality (junk) carbs.
Everything coming out now points to refined sugar and refined carbs as being much less benign than previously thought.
good job being on no meds! I'm not on any either, except bio-identical progesterone. :)

Off to walk Ernestine before we both literally become toast...the heat is definitely on, here in the Valley of the Sun.

Those low quality junk carbs...yep, CRAP food for sure.

I surround myself with people like you ... you are a great positive force for me and I can see, a lot of others. A big THANK YOU!

    Love that u r so passionate about your new passion...C O T T A G E C H E E S E

    Today's Menu:

B: eggs and coffee and juice*
S: juice (freshly made by ME)
    L: chicken olives salsa
    S: none
D: steak, hummus, pepper strips, orange
    D: pistachios

going for a few weeks without bread, rice, or pasta...but lots of fruit...so this is not a P1 at all...but no frozen foods ...even though I will eat them again...best way for me to have pasta dishes...Amy or TJ makes it for me and I eat one serving.

*all juices made in a juicer (never make more than enough for two days)...my fridge is overflowing with produce.

Thanks for asking about my back <3 ...I can at least cook now...even though very simple meals...so better...hoping to be back to walking tomorrow.

    I'm a habitual eater.
Let's start with: I don't follow the plan exactly. Ok, now knowing that I cut out a lot of junk including soda.
I started Jan. 1 just on SB and plateaued around a lost of 20 to 25 lbs.
I now added exercise, I go to planet fitness and try to do minimum of 30 min cardio and a good portion of weight training. I'm trying to up my cardio.
    Now my menu:
most of the time this is what I eat:

B: 3 eggs and 3 great value ham slices
L: A can of campbell's healthy choice soup and half a cup of cottage cheese
S: 2 oz. of colby jack cheese and some summer sausage.
    Sn: Apple, string cheese
Sn: But not every day. 1/4 c. mixed nuts.

Then days off with my husband we usually go out for something different. And I track all calories.
When hungry for chocolate I will have 2 squares of the ghirardelli dark chocolate.
    Occasional ice cream.
    That's about it.

Looks pretty SB to me! I personally don't thing one needs to do the recipes to be following the principles.
